    KINGSPORT - Charlotte A. Grogg, 60, went to be with the Lord on Monday (August 11, 2003) at her residence.

    Charlotte was born April 1, 1943 in Church Hill, TN; the daughter of Davis E. Bombailey and the late Rachel Robinette Bombailey.

    Surviving are her loving husband and best friend, Harold Grogg of the home; her daughter, Rebecca Hilton; her daughter and son-in-law, Debi and Robert Feathers; grandchildren, Andrew David and Benjamin Davis Hilton and Matilee Elizabeth Feathers; her father, Dave Bombailey; brother, Davis Bombelli; sisters, Joy (Mrs. Tommy) Parker and Judy (Mrs. Eric) DeLoach; special friends, Daisy Carroll, Mrs, Gene Mottern, Mrs. Roscoe Elam and Nora Light.

    Charlotte was a loving mother, special grandmother and devoted wife. She leaves many special nieces and nephews and friends. She was a successful business woman as proprietor of Rachel's Daughter.

    Calling hours are from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Johnson Funeral Home and anytime at the residence.

    Services will be conducted Tuesday at 8:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Gale Flannary and the Rev. Maurice Lay officiating.

    Graveside services will be conducted Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at Old Union Cemetery.

    Pallbearers will be her nephews and great nephews, Mike Parker, Brett DeLoach, Sam DeLoach, Steve Harris, Mark Testerman, Josh Edmonson, Thomas Edmonson and Bo Ford.

    Honorary bearers will be Seth Testerman, Houston Harris, Bryce DeLoach, Seth Rimer, Justin Rimer, Matthew Parker, Christopher Parker and Christopher Bennett.

    In lieu of flowers, the family request contributions be made to the American Cancer society or the American Heart Association.

    Rebecca Dawn Grogg Hilton, 50, passed away of a heart attack on Monday, September 14, 2015, at her residence in Johnson City.

    She was born on July 10, 1965, in Colonial Heights, TN where she resided most of her life.

    Ms. Hilton is preceded in death by her mother, Charlotte Bombailey Grogg; maternal grandparents, Davis and Rachel Bombailey; and paternal grandparents, Charles and Roxie Grogg.

    She graduated from Sullivan South High School and attended East Tennessee State University. Prior to her illness, she was a professional medical laboratory assistant. Ms. Hilton was dearly loved by her children and considered her life as a mother her true profession.

    She is survived by her sons; Benjamin Davis Hilton and Andrew David Hilton; father, Harold Grogg and wife Peggy Grogg; sister, Debi Feathers and husband Robbie; niece, Matilee Feathers; special friends, Connie Sprinkle and Felica Pickens.

    The family will receive friends from 12:00 - 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 17, 2015, at East Lawn Funeral Home.

    Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, September 17, 2015, at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of East Lawn Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow in the Garden of Love at East Lawn Memorial Park.
