Frances Louise Buck, 73, formerly of 277 Buck and Jarrett Loop, Central community, Johnson City, and Life Care Center of Elizabethton,
died Monday, May 20, 2002, at Johnson City Medical Center following an extended illness.
A native of Carter County, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Myrtle Pritchard Sneed. She was preceded in death by three sisters, Virginia Sneed, Cory Hill and Betty Phipps.
Mrs. Buck was of the Baptist faith. She was retired from Bemberg and North American Rayon Corp. after 35 years of service.

BUCK -- The candlelight funeral service for Frances Louise Buck, 73, formerly of 277 Buck and Jarrett Loop, Central community, Johnson City, and Life Care Center of Elizabethton, who died Monday, May 20, 2002, will be conducted at 8 p.m. Wednesday, May 22, 2002, in the Chapel of Peace at Tetrick Funeral Home, with the Rev. Bobby Stout officiating. Graveside services and interment will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 23, 2002, at Happy Valley Memorial Park.

Ruby Pauline "Polly" Collins, 80 years young, Elizabethton, passed away Monday, June 1, 2015, at Johnson City Medical Center. She went to join her savior, her husband Paul of 55 years, and their daughter Pat of 24 years.
A native of Carter County, she was a daughter of the late Albert and Myrtle Pritchard Sneed of Elizabethton.
Polly retired from Siemens Electronics. She was a proud attendee of New Life Tabernacle of Johnson City.
Polly and Paul enjoyed traveling and camping all over the country, meeting and making friends wherever they went. Polly loved time spent with her family and her friends and especially enjoyed time spent with her friends and employees at the Southern Café where she worked with her daughter Ruby.
Survivors include three daughters, Ruby Malone and her husband Ronnie of Watauga, Theresa Hopson and her husband Jimmy of Dandridge and Pauletta Richardson of Elizabethton; one adopted daughter/granddaughter, Crystal Collins of Elizabethton; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren, whom she loved dearly; and one surviving sister, Marie Baird of Elizabethton.
The family will gather for a final farewell at Memorial Funeral Chapel on Thursday, June 4, at 1:20 p.m. with a graveside service to be held at Happy Valley Memorial Park with the Rev. David Booher officiating. Active pallbearers will be Joshua Malone, Frankie Hopson, Jimmy Hopson, Billy Kinsler, Dennis White and Wayne Winters. Honorary pallbearers will be Steve Pearson and Mickey Rambo.

ELIZABETHTON - Bobbie Joe Buck, 71, Elizabethton passed away Friday, March 9, 2018 in the Select Specialty Hospital, Bristol, Tenn.

He was a Carter County native. Bobbie Joe was a 1965 graduate of Happy Valley High School. He served in the United States Navy. He was retired as Plant Manager with the MECO Corporation, Greeneville. Bobbie Joe was a member of V.F.W. Post 2166. He was preceded in death by his mother: Francis Louise Snead Buck and a daughter: Jocyene Tengroth.

Survivors include his wife of 42 years: Barbara Sue Asher Buck. His Children: Bobbie Joe Buck II & wife Freda, Johnson City, Carson Jackson & wife Judy, Abingdon, Va. And Cherial Lingerfelt, Bristol. His father, Billy Joe Buck. Five Grandchildren: Gina Percey & husband Matt, Randy Lingerfelt & fiancé Dottie Craig, Landon Jackson, Wesley Jackson and Logan Buck. Three Great Grandchildren: Jordan Percey, Jackson Percey and Ryder Lingerfelt.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 13, 2018 in Memorial Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Gary Edwards officiating. Entombment will follow in the Mausoleum of Peace, Happy Valley Memorial Park. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Tim Gouge, Todd Avery, Trey Avery, Keith Mullins, Mike Buck and Larry Brown.
