Louis Marshall Tester

Louis M. Tester, 81, of Eaton Township, Ohio, died Monday, August 30, 1999, at St. John Westshore Hospital, Westlake, Ohio, following a lengthy illness.
Mr. Tester was a native of Watauga County, N.C., and the son of the late Eli and Sarah Presnell Tester. He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Barbara Tester, in 1994, and by six brothers and three sisters.
Mr. Tester had lived in Eaton Township for the past 34 years, coming from Cleveland. He was employed by Ford Motor Company in Brook Park, Ohio, in the maintenance department, with 27 years of service. He was a member of the U.A.W. Local #1250.
Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Alta G. Bunton Tester; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Jean and Ed Roch, North Olmstead, Ohio, Mary Fitts, San Antonio, Texas, and Kathy and Chuck Runyon, Grafton, Ohio; four sons and three daughters-in-law, Marshall and Linda Tester, Parma, Ohio, Robert and Karen Tester, Medina, Ohio, Ronnie and Liz Tester, LaGrange, Ohio, and Kenny Tester, Grafton, Ohio; 20 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; a brother, Howard Tester of Tennessee; and three sisters, Rilda Campbell, Ida Finney and Ruth Jones, all of Tennessee.
Funeral services and interment will be held Thursday in Eaton Township.

Louis married Alta G. Bunton on 12 Nov 1938 in Johnson County, , , Tennessee. Alta (daughter of Noah David Bunton and Anna Margaret Brockwell) was born on 24 Feb 1922 in Washintgon County, , , Tennessee; died on 10 Feb 2004 in Cuyahoga County, , , Ohio; was buried in Butternut Ridge Cemetery, , Lorain County, Ohio.
