    Notes:

    Ralph E. "Bud" Stout, 81, of Johnson City, died Thursday, May 2, 2013 at the Johnson City Medical Center.

    He was a native of Butler, TN, son of the late Donald G. and Stella May Smith Stout. Ralph was the owner and operator of Louis Shoe Repair Shop. He was a member of the Harvest Time Baptist Church.

    In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia L. Stout in 1987 and was the last of eleven children.

    Survivors include: two daughters, Brenda Carlton and her husband David of Johnson City and Gaye Holly of Elizabethton; his companion of 24 years, Jean of Johnson City; compainion's children, Melissa, Vickie, Dean, James and Terry; grandchildren, Ralph Holly and Brenda Largent; several grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

    A funeral service is scheduled for Sunday, May 5, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. in the South Chapel of the Morris-Baker Funeral Home under the direction of Pastor Ben Hurd and Rev. Ron Adams.

    The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until time of service at 7:00 p.m. A committal service will be conducted on Monday, May 6, 2013 at the Washington County Memory Gardens at 11:00 am.

    Active pallbearers will be: Dean Mann, Terry Mann, Walter Pierce, Jerry Harkleroad, Elbert Richardson and Dr. Farrow. Honorary pallbearers will be: James Mann, David Carlton, Howard Richardson and Dr. Jason Hatjiounnou.
