Tommy Darrell Collins

Notes:

He was a son of the late James C. and Emma Alma White Collins. He was also preceded in death by his first wife, Helen Jordan Collins and a brother, George P. Collins.

Mr. Collins was a former saw mill operator and retired from Jarl Extrusions of Elizabethton.
He was a member of Roan Creek Masonic Lodge #679, Butler; a member of the Butler Chapter #218 Order of Eastern Star; the Scottish Rite, Knoxville, and Jericho Temple, Kingsport.

Mr. Collins served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict.

He was a member of Little Doe Baptist Church, Butler.

Funeral services were conducted at 8 p.m. Friday, October 17, 2003 in Memorial Funeral Chapel.

Graveside services and interment weree held at 11 a.m. Saturday, October 18, 2003 in the Sunset Memorial Park, Mountain City.

Tommy married Helen Elizabeth Jordan on 3 Aug 1951 in Johnson County, , , Tennessee. Helen (daughter of James Willis Jordan and Vada Ann Robinson) was born on 12 Sep 1930 in Johnson County, , , Tennessee; died on 4 Jan 1992 in Carter County, , , Tennessee; was buried in Sunset Memorial Park, , Johnson County, Tennessee.
