    Millard H. Fletcher, age 82, of Butler, TN, passed Saturday, July 9, 2011 following an extended illness. He was born on February 27, 1929 to the late Noah Monroe Fletcher and Effie Marie Reed Fletcher. In addition to his parents, Millard was preceded in death by sisters: Cleona Plummer, Juanita Murray and Marie Cline and brother, Spencer Fletcher. He was a 59 year member of Roan Creek Masonic Lodge #679 F&AM and was also a 32nd degree Scottish Rite Mason. He was of the Baptist faith.

    Millard is survived by his wife of 59 ½ years, Pearl Fletcher; daughters and sons-in-law: Sharon and Walter Church, Jean and Frank Osborne, all of Butler, TN and Jane and Andy Worman of Dunnellon, FL; son and daughter-in-law, Billy Wayne and Mandy Fletcher of Butler, TN; sisters and brother-in-law: Hazel and Wiley Crowder of Mountain City, TN, Lorraine Allen of Hickory, NC and Louise Stansberry of Butler, TN; brothers and sisters-in-law: Denvis and Linda Fletcher of Elizabethton, TN; Dorsey and Donna Fletcher of Mountain City, TN and McKinley Fletcher of Elizabethton, TN; brother-in-law, Troy Pierce of Dayton, TN; grandchildren: Billy Reed Fletcher and wife Brandy, Dennis Fletcher and wife Jessica, Shelly Atwood, Kevin Potter, Brent Whitehead and Cody Fletcher; great grandchildren: Caleb, Tommy, Austin, Thunder, Isabella and Adrian.

    Graveside Service and Interment will be conducted at 11:00 a.m on Tuesday, July 12, 2011 at the Fletcher Cemetery (Sink Valley Road, Butler, TN) with Pastor Alan Koch to officiate.
    Pallbearers will be Kevin Potter, Brent Whitehead, Billy Reed Fletcher, Dennis Fletcher, Cody Fletcher and Eric Matherly.

    Denvis Allen Fletcher, 85, of Elizabethton, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 22, 2019, surrounded by family. He was born in Johnson County to the late Noah and Retha (Effie) Reed Fletcher. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Linda; two sons, Dennis Fletcher and Wayne Fletcher; three brothers, Spencer, Millard and Dorsey; and four sisters, Cleona, Juanita, Marie and Louise.
    Den was a member of Lynn Valley Baptist Church and always put God first. He loved his family, being outside and building birdhouses, as well as making quilts and tending the garden.
    Those left to cherish his memory include his sons, Danny Fletcher and wife Angie and David Hinkle and wife Gretchen; his daughter, Susie Allen; a brother, McKinley Fletcher; two sisters, Hazel Crowder and Lorraine Allen; nine grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and two very special friends, Jim Campbell and Ken Potter.

    Louise Stansberry, age 70, of Butler, Tennessee, passed away on Monday, May 01, 2017. She was born on May 9, 1946 to the late Noah and Effie Reed Fletcher. In addition to her parents, Louise was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Stansberry; sisters: Cleona Plummer, Juanita Cress and Marie Kline and brothers: Millard Fletcher, Spencer Fletcher and Dorsey Fletcher.

    Louise was a member of Mountain View Baptist Church.

    She grew up farming and really enjoyed gardening and growing beautiful flowers. She also worked at Leco/Levi's and Mountain City Care Center. She was known for her words of wisdom. She loved her church, her family and especially her granddaughters.

    Those left to cherish her memories include her son and daughter-in-law, David and Angie Fletcher; sisters: Hazel Crowder and Lorraine Allen; brothers: Denvis Fletcher and McKinley Fletcher; grandchildren: Nikki Trivette and Amy Fletcher; beloved friend, Kathleen Harmon and several nieces and nephews.

    Funeral service for Louise will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 6, 2017 at the Mountain City Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Don Winters and Pastor Lynn Hicks officiating. Graveside service and interment will follow at the Sugar Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Danny Fletcher, Ben Wheeler, Keith Kight, J.R. Stansberry, Lester Ward, and David Green. Honorary pallbearer is Tim Fletcher.

    Betty Jane Fritts, age 69, passed away on Thursday, March 30, 2017. She was born November 26, 1947 to the late Spencer Fletcher and Margaret Jene Street. Betty enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She also enjoyed working in her flowers and helping at Hales Ministry but most of all she enjoyed being with her two dogs, BB and Lucky.

    Survivors include: Husband: Roy "Buster" Fritts; Son: Robbie Allen Fletcher; Step-Son: Brian Fritts; Step Daughter: Crystal and husband Martin Norris and Kathy and husband Johnny Feltner; Grandchildren: Robbie Fletcher, Jacob Fletcher, Christina Norris, and Brittany Norris. Step-Grandchildren: Becky, Kimberly and Brandy Fritts and Josh Feltner; Two Brothers: Bobby Fletcher and Teddy Street, both of Mountain City, TN. Several Nieces and Nephews also survive and her special friend Ellen Stout.

    Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Monday, April 3, 2017 at Charles B. Hux Memorial Chapel of Hux Lipford Funeral Home. with Rev. Harvey White officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. prior to the funeral service. Graveside service and interment will follow in Mast Cemetery.

    Pallbearers will be Buck Fritts, George Roark, Marty Norris, Dustin Fritts, Billy Davis and Joey Allen.

    Billy Wayne Fletcher, age 60, of Butler, Tennessee, passed away on Tuesday, December 20, 2016. He was born on September 4, 1956 to Ina Pearl Fletcher and the late Millard Fletcher.
    Billy worked in construction for many years. He was a kind, caring and loving man who was always there to lend a helping hand to family, friends or anyone that needed help, without any questions. He loved animals, especially horses.
    Those left to cherish his memories include his mother, Ina Pearl Fletcher; his children: Kevin Potter, Dennis Fletcher and wife Jessica, Cody Fletcher and Shelly Atwood; sisters: Sharon Church and husband Walter, Jean Osborne and husband Frank and Jane Worman and husband Andy; grandchildren: Adrian, Zane, Caleb and Tommy; nephews: illy Reed Fletcher and Brent Whitehead; and many, many special friends and neighbors.
    Graveside service and interment will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Monday, December 26, 2016 at the Fletcher Family Cemetery, located on Sink Valley Road, Butler, TN with Pastor Harvey White ad Pastor Dan Wood officiating. Pallbearers are Billy Reed Fletcher, James Dean Forrester , Craig Peters, Shane Adams, Dan Oliver, Rick Rathbun, Travis McCloud, Russ Bonde. Honorary pallbearers are Walter Church, Frank Osborne, Andy Worman, James Walsh, Lloyd McCloud and Scott Forrester.
