  1. 1.  Myrtle M. Robinson was born about 1905 in Carter County, , , Tennessee; died on 8 Aug 2007 in Asbury Place, , Washington County, Tennessee.

    Notes:

    Myrtle M. Crow, age 103, 400 N. Boone St., Johnson City, died Wednesday, August 8, 2007, in Asbury Place at Johnson City following a brief illness.

    She was a Carter County native and a daughter of the late John Tipton and Mattie Deloach Roberson. Mrs. Crow was a member of Harmony Baptist Church and the Senior Citizens Center of Elizabethton.

    In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ed Crow; two daughters, Joan Crow, Louise Hamby; one son, E.J. Crow; three brothers, Clyde, Mose and Floyd Roberson; and three sisters, Laura Garrison, Lena Kaigler and Ruby Bare.

    Survivors include three daughters and two sons-in-law, Nannie Burton, Roberta and Delmer Lowe, all of Johnson City, Peggy and Terry McLemore, Cleveland, OH; twenty-one grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; and one sister, Hazel Roberson, Elizabethton. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

    The funeral service for Mrs. Crow will be conducted at 8 p.m. Friday, August 10, in the Tetrick Funeral Home Riverside Chapel with Rev. Jerry Lyons officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Friday in the chapel prior to the service.

    The graveside service and interment will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, August 11, in Happy Valley Memorial Park. Everyone is asked to meet at the cemetery at 9:55 a.m. Saturday. Active pallbearers will be her grandsons and great-grandsons.

    Buried:
    JOHNSON CITY - Nannie V. Burton, 91, of Johnson City, TN, died February 23, 2022, at the Johnson City Medical Center.
    She was a native of Elizabethton and a daughter of the late Ed and Myrtle Crow. She lived most of her life in Johnson City.
    Nannie worked at ETSU for many years in university food service.
    She was a member of Keystone Freewill Baptist Church.
    She was a people person who enjoyed life. Nannie was happiest sitting at her kitchen table talking with her friends, family, and neighbors.
    Nannie was preceded in death by: her father, Ed Crow, her mother, Myrtle Crow, her husband, Junior Burton, and her son, Jeff Hensley.
    Survivors include: two daughters, Margaret Oakes of Johnson City, and Judith Oakes, and her husband John, of Johnson City; her son, Randy Hensley, and his wife Janie, of Johnson City; grandchildren, Timmy Odom of Orange, TX, Will Odom of Olympia, WA, and Hannah Smith of Gray; and 9 great-grandchildren.
    Graveside services for Nannie V. Burton will be conducted 12:00 pm Saturday, February 26, 2022, at Monte Vista Memorial Park with Pastor Tony Birchfield officiating.

    Mrs. Roberta C. Lowe, age 79, Johnson City, passed away, Thursday, December 22, 2011, at her residence.

    Mrs. Lowe was a native of Carter County who had lived most of her life in Johnson City. She was the daughter of the late Ed Crowe and Myrtle Robison Crowe.

    In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Delmer W. Lowe; two sisters, JoAnn Crowe and Louise Hamby; one brother, Edward J. Crowe; one great grandson, Luke Smalling.

    Mrs. Lowe was a homemaker and lifelong Christian. She was married to the love of her life for sixty-one years and was a caring and loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Her family will always remember her for her kind and gentle spirit.

    Survivors include: one son, George Lowe, of Johnson City; two daughters, Teresa Lowe Smalling and her husband, Thomas, of Johnson City, and Barbara Lowe Tucker and her husband, Jerry, of Gray; two sisters, Nannie Burton, of Johnson City, and Peggy McLemore and her husband, Terry, of Florida; five grandchildren, Duane Smalling, Scott Smalling and his wife, Carmen, Chasity Ferrando and her husband, Dennis, Wes Tucker and his wife, Jennifer, and Lindsey Jessen and her husband, Michael; eleven great grandchildren; four step great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

    The funeral service for Mrs. Roberta C. Lowe will be conducted at 8 PM Monday, December 26, 2011, in the Morris-Baker South Chapel. Brother Roy Tucker and Chaplain Victor Tucker will officiate. Organist Lynda Tucker and soloists Jennifer Tucker, Benny Lowe and Laura will provide music.

    The graveside committal service will be conducted at 11 AM Tuesday in the Monte Vista Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be Duane Smalling, Scott Smalling, Zach Smalling, Wes Tucker, Dennis Ferrando and Michael Jessen. Honorary pallbearers will be the great grandchildren, Jake, Maddox, Cameron, Abby, Becca, Grayson, Hayden, Austin, Blake and Christain. Ministers, family and friends are requested to meet at the funeral home by 10:30 AM Tuesday to go in procession to the cemetery.
