Got info gggg-grandfather was William Morgan Gilmore married to Martha Edmondson then his father William Gilmore born in Scotland 1730 married Elizabeth Beatty in 1760. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Understand William & Martha had 10 children. My grandfather was Bernard Taylor Gilmer, his father was John Scott Gilmer,and his father was Daughtery Gilmer, don't have the name of Daugherty's wife or children.

Daugherty "Dot" Gilmer m. (1) Nancy Carroll Dickenson, b. 9/19/1833, d. 1/17/1862, dau of Nathaniel Dickenson and Mary Dickenson. Known children: Jane m. Buck Cook; Mollie E. m. (2) Charles W Bausell; Jerusha m. Jess Booher; Nathaniel D; Mary E m. William Smith Gilmer.
Daugherty on 5/19/1863 m. (2) Mary Elizabeth Jessee, b. 4/27/1839, dau of Joseph Jessee and Cynthia Smyth. Known children: Cynthia M; Bertha L m. Winfield Scott Jessee.
I'm assuming these two marriages are the same Daugherty, based on date of death of first wife.
