    Mrs. Zella R. DeVault, 99, Gray, went to be with Jesus on Monday, April 18, 2005, at NHC Healthcare Center (where she was a resident). She was the daughter of the late A.J. Isenberg Sr. and Lou Hawk Isenberg. She was a lifelong resident of the Gray Community. Mrs. DeVault attended Buffalo Ridge Baptist Church, where she was a member of the Namoi Church School Class. She was a homemaker and in her early years taught school. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde A. DeVault, a sister, Kate Hodge, a brother, A.J. Isenberg Jr. She is survived by two daughters, Kathleen Salts and Sally Hicks of Gray; A son and wife, Clyde and Barbara DeVault of Gray; Six grandsons, Danny and Phil Sells, Shannon Salts, Tim Hicks, Kenneth & Gerald DeVault; Two granddaughters, Luanna Wheelock and Alisa Rogers; eight great-granddaughters and eleven great-grandsons; and five great-great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8:15 Wednesday, April 20, 2005, at Gray Funeral Chapel. Services will be held immediately following at 8:30 p.m. Officiating will be Dr. Gene Lasley, Rev. Amy Cook and Rev. Ramon Torris. Graveside services will be held Thursday, April 21, 2005, at 11 a.m. Interment will be at Gray Cemetery. Pallbearers will be grandsons. Honorary pallbearers will be great-grandsons. The family wishes to express their heartfelt thanks to the nurses and CNAs of Station One at NHC Nursing Facilities.
