    JOHNSON CITY - Billie John "Wild Bill" Presnell, Johnson City went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, May 1st after a brief illness. He was 89 years old.

    Bill was a native of Washington County Tennessee and was raised on local sharecropping farms. He was a man of many trades and was a hard worker. Throughout his early life he worked on an oyster boat in Gloucester Virginia, on a horse farm in Danbury Connecticut and at Gordon's furniture in Johnson City Tennessee, among other jobs. He worked at Baxter-Pharmaceal for 30 years starting as a janitor and retiring as a master mechanic in maintenance.

    Bill was an active member of the Tri Cities Church of God. He loved living and working for the Lord. He also enjoyed spending time with his family, wood working, mowing, watching golf, playing Phase 10, and telling jokes. His favorite place to eat was Dino's restaurant in Elizabethton.

    He was proceeded in death by the love of his life and wife of 67 years, Jonnie B, his mother Carrie Hicks, brother Steve Hicks and sister Joyce Amos.

    He is survived by his two daughters, Victoria Lunceford (Joe Sr.) and Kerry Jackson (David)

    Three grandsons, Joe C. Lunceford Jr. (Sheri), John Lunceford, and Matthew Lunceford (Cindy)

    Three granddaughters, Tammy Bouton (Mitchell), Monica Phillips (Brian) and Misty Bouton (Lawrence)

    Twelve great-grandchildren, Kristina, Haylee, Brad, Nikki, Cody, Colton, Alyra, Autumn, Summer, Meghan, Trinity and Amara

    A special Aunt, Francis Gillenwater, his dog Coco and many nieces, nephews and friends.

    Funeral Services will be conducted at 7 p.m. Thursday, May 6, 2021 in Memorial Funeral Chapel with Pastor Richard Bawgus, Mr. Rocky Collins and Mr. David Jackson officiating. Graveside Service and Interment will be at 11 a.m. Friday, May 7, 2021 in the Washington County Memorial Park. Music will be provided by Luanne Powers. Active Pallbearers who are requested to assemble at the cemetery at 10:50 a.m. Friday will be: Grandsons & Grandsons-In-Law: Joe Lunceford,Jr., John Lunceford, Matthew Lunceford, Brian Phillips, Mitchell Bouton and Lawrence Bouton. Honorary Pallbearers will be employees of Dino’s Restaurant and Joe Lunceford, Sr.

    WARNER ROBINS - Joyce Ann Amos peacefully passed away early on the morning of Friday, February 19, 2021, at the age of 78. The daughter of the late Earnest and Carrie Hicks, Joyce was born on October 29, 1942, in Gray, Tennessee. She was a proud military wife and with her husband, they moved around often. She worked in quality control at Frito-Lay for 17 years before becoming a Church Secretary at the Cochran Field Church of God. Joyce was of the Pentecostal faith. She had a green thumb and enjoyed cultivating many types of flowers. She was also a talented singer. All will miss Joyce dearly as she imprinted on the lives of many during her time here on earth.

    In addition to her parents, her son, Stephen Amos and her daughter, Sandra Amos, preceded Joyce in death.

    Her legacy will live on through her husband of 61 years, William “Bill” Amos; son, William Bill Amos, Jr. (Deb) of Colorado; daughter-in-law, Gaye (McCullough) Harris of Centerville; grandchildren, Christopher Amos (Sylvia) of Texas; Kayla Crow of Indiana; Clayton Amos of Missouri; Ashley Poole of Statesboro; and Alyssa Simpson and Amanda Simpson, both of Tennessee.

    A visitation will be held Monday, February 22, 2021, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A funeral service celebrating Joyce’s life will be held on Tuesday, February 23, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Afterward, Joyce will be laid to rest in Parkway Memorial Gardens.

    A native of Piney Flats she was a daughter of the late Van & Charity Presnell Hicks, she had lived most of her life in Johnson City. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Walker was of the Pentecostal Faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband: Earnest Deloach and her second husband: Aaron J. Walker, by four sisters: Lucille Godsey, Dorothy Hicks, Martha Hampton and Reba Fagan and one brother: Ralph Hicks.

    Survivors include her Daughter: Dorothy Pruitt, of the home. Three Grandchildren: April Henry (Sam), Gray, Teshia Pruitt, of the home and Clarissa Parlier (Scotty) Hampton. Seven Great Grandchildren: Christian Henry, Jaiden Henry, Kymber Pruitt, Aubrey Pruitt, Tuff Parlier, Waylon Parlier and Ryder Parlier. One Sister: Betty Godsey, Piney Flats. Several Nieces, Nephews & Cousins.

    Funeral Services will be conducted at 7 p.m. Wednesday in Memorial Funeral Chapel with Bishop David Jackson officiating. Graveside Service will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, March 7, 2019 in the Mountain Home National Cemetery.

    JOHNSON CITY - Reva Mae Fagans, age 72, of Johnson City, TN passed away Sunday, December 3, 2017 at her residence.

    A native of Piney Flats, TN she was the daughter of the late Van and Charity Presnell Hicks. She was a homemaker and was a member of Keystone Freewill Baptist Church. She loved her dog "Little Bit". She was a loving mother who always put her family first. Her memory will live on forever through her loving family and friends.

    In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Gary Michael Fagans. Those left to cherish her memory include three sons, Tim Fagans and wife Tonia, Johnson City; Robert Fagans, Johnson City and Kenneth Fagans and wife Angel, Germantown, TN; six grandchildren, Matthew Fagans, Sean Fagans, Lindsay Fagans, Alan Fagans, Levi Fagans and Kylie Fagans; four great-grandchildren and two sisters, Betty Godsey, Piney Flats and Evon Walker, Johnson City. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

    A service to honor the life of Reva Mae Fagans will be conducted at 7:30 P.M. Wednesday, December 6, 2017 in the Sunset Chapel of Hathaway-Percy Funeral and Cremation Services, Elizabethton. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 – 7:30 P.M. on Wednesday prior to the funeral service.

    Graveside service and interment will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, December 7, 2017 in Oak Hill Cemetery, Johnson City. Active pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. Those attending the graveside service are asked to meet at the cemetery at 1:50 P.M. on Thursday.

She was a native and lifelong resident of Johnson City and was a daughter of the late Roy Clark Jr. and Charity Marie Hicks Clark. She had worked in Food service and Housekeeping before retirement. Margaret was of the Pentecostal faith. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, David Lee Clark and a sister, Geneva Jean Clark Tapp.

    Survivors include two sisters, Marie J. Smith and Dorene Sandy Clark both of Johnson City: also several nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews.

    Graveside services for Margaret will be conducted at 11:00 AM Saturday, April 3, 2021 in the Washington County Memory Gardens for family and friends with Pastor Roy Reed officiating. Pallbearers will be selected from the family and friends.
