He was preceded in death by his father Lowell Blevins Sr, brother Jimmy Blevins, brother in law Roger Blankenblecker and Uncle Jay Blevins.

Funeral services were held on Wednesday, January 25th, 2017 at 12:00 noon at Badger Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Blevins Cemetery. Mr. Blevins is survived by: his wife, Pat Segraves Blevins, one daughter, Jessica Kennedy of Piney Creek, his parents, Iva Lee Price Blevins & Lowell Blevins, Sr. of Creston, one brother, Lowell Blevins, Jr. of Creston , one half brother, Glenn Blevins of Mountain City, TN, five sisters, Bertha Lee Houser & husband Bobby and Mary Eastridge & husband Jerry all of Creston, Pat Lewther & husband Ray and Sheri Plum all of West Virginia and Charlene Blankenbeckler & husband Roger of Mountain City, TN, one grandson, Owen Mills of Piney Creek, several nieces and nephews also survive.
