    Thomas R. Bradshaw
    Thomas R. Bradshaw, 93, formerly of 500 West Mill Street, Elizabethton,
    died Friday, August 18, 2006, at Hermitage Health Center after an extended
    illness.

    Mr. Bradshaw was a native of Carter County and the son of the late William
    and Madge Deloach Bradshaw.

    Mr. Bradshaw attended First Free Will Baptist Church of Elizabethton. He
    was an employee of North American Rayon Corporation for over 40 years.

    In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Berdie
    Barnett Bradshaw, February 3, 1984. He was also preceded in death by a
    daughter, Charlotte Bradshaw White; a grandson, Stephen Rasnick; four sisters,
    Laura Noel, Rachel Bradshaw, Ina Maude Bradshaw and Grace Katherine Campbell;
    three brothers, George Elbert Bradshaw, John Ed Bradshaw and James Bradshaw;
    and two sons-in-law, Howell Rasnick and Lewis White.

    Survivors include two daughters and a son-in-law, Dorothy Rasnick,
    Watauga, and Rita and Tim Holtsclaw, Hampton, and a son and daughter-in-law,
    James "Sam" and Jeannette Bradshaw, Elizabethton. Eight grandchildren, 11
    great-grandchildren, one great-great-granddaughter and several nieces and
    nephews also survive.

    The funeral service for Mr. Bradshaw will be conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday,
    August 20, in the Riverside Chapel of Tetrick Funeral Home with the Rev. Nick
    Bradshaw officiating. Music will be under the direction of JoAnn Campbell,
    pianist, and James "Bo" Campbell, soloist. The graveside service and interment
    will be Sunday, following the service, at Happy Valley Memorial Park. Active
    pallbearers will be grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Tommy Range, Daniel
    Range, Allen Rasnick, Thomas Ledford, Drew Barker and Brad Barker. The family
    will receive friends in the funeral chapel from 2 to 3 p.m. Sunday, prior to
    the service. Those who prefer may make memorial donations to the First Free
    Will Baptist Church Building Fund, 706 First Street, Elizabethton TN 37643.
    The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Hermitage
    Health Center for their loving care of Mr. Bradshaw.

    Ina Maude Bradshaw, 83, formerly of 308-B Magnolia Street, Elizabethton, died Thursday, Dec. 31, 1998, in the Hermitage Nursing Home, following an extended illness.

    A native of Carter County, she was the daughter of the late William F. and Madge Deloach Bradshaw. She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, three brothers and three sisters.

    Ms. Bradshaw was a member of the First Free Will Baptist Church and a retired employee of the Elizabethton School System.

    Survivors include a brother, Tom Bradshaw, Elizabethton. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

    Tetrick Funeral Home, Riverside Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.

    Kathryn Bradshaw Peters, 93, of Elizabethton, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, April 6, 2018, from Johnson City Medical Center. Kathryn was born in Carter County to the late George and Virginia Bowers Bradshaw. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Peters, and her brother, Robert Bradshaw.
    Kathryn was a loving mother and grandmother and enjoyed being a homemaker. She was a member of First Freewill Baptist Church for many years, where she had taught Bible School and sang in the church choir. Kathryn especially enjoyed playing bingo at Ivy Hall Nursing Home.
    Those left to cherish her memory include two sons, Michael Peters and wife Billie, Elizabethton, and Rick Peters, also of Elizabethton; five grandchildren, Russell Bennett, Randall Bennett, Kristi Colbaugh, Kara McGhee and Renee` Garland; 10 great-grandchildren; and one niece, Patty Russell.
    A service to celebrate the life of Kathryn Bradshaw Peters will be conducted at 7 p.m. Sunday, April 8, in the Chapel of Peace at Tetrick Funeral Home, Elizabethton, with Rev. Jack Lloyd and Rev. Nathan Jennings officiating. Music will be provided by Russell Bennett, soloist. The family will receive friends in the funeral home chapel from 5 until 7 p.m. Sunday, prior to the service. The graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, April 9, in the Highland Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be selected from family and friends.

    A native of Carter County, he was the son of the late John Edward and Zella Jewell Osborne Bradshaw.

    In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Barbara A. Hodge Bradshaw, March 20, 2006, and an infant brother, Jimmy Bradshaw.

    Mr. Bradshaw served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict in 1950-1954.

    He worked as a mechanic for Rainbo Bakery for 36 plus years.

    Mr. Bradshaw was an avid fisherman and hunter and also a member of the Gamecock Club.

    He was a member of First Freewill Baptist Church in Elizabethton.

    Survivors include three daughters and sons-in-law, Debora Pate and Jessie Dean Pate Sr. and Sharon and Bruce Hall, all of Johnson City, and Lisa and Ronald Ragan of Gray; a son, Billy Joe Bradshaw Jr. of Johnson City; a sister, Jean Carolyn Johnson of Elk Hart, Ind.; six grandchildren, Jessie Dean Pate Jr., Heather Nunley, Andy Hall, Joshua Ragan, Marsha Bradshaw and Billie Bradshaw, and a step-grandchild, Joey Culbert; five great-grandchildren, Tempia Kate Nunley, Allison Rose Nunley, Emmalee Grace Nunley, Macie Nunley and Shannon LeAnn Bradshaw; and a special niece and nephew, Martha Shatley and Johnny Crowe Jr.

    A Celebration of Life Service for Mr. Bradshaw will be conducted at 8 p.m. Tuesday, September 12, in the Sunrise Chapel of Tetrick Funeral Services, Johnson City, with Rev. C.W. Snodgrass officiating and Martha Shatley delivering the eulogy. Music will be under the direction of The Dugger Family. The family will receive friends in the funeral chapel from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, prior to the service.

    The committal and graveside service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday, September 13, at Happy Valley Memorial Park. Everyone is asked to meet at the funeral home at 9:15 a.m. to go in procession to the cemetery.

    Active pallbearers will be Tim Morrison, Ronnie Miller, Johnny Crowe III, Joey Culbert, Bill Skeens and Mathew Hite.

    She was born October 20, 1927 in Carter County to the late Taft and Grace Bradshaw Campbell. Mrs. Taylor was a homemaker who loved doing for her family and her church family. She was an active member of First Free Will Baptist Church.

    In addition to her family, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul E. Taylor, who died April 4, 2005; by a sister, Carolyn Richards; and a brother, Bruce Campbell.

    Survivors include her daughters, Paulette Taylor Johnson and husband Paul Rochester, Aurora, Colorado and Mitzi Phillips and husband Keith, Elizabethton; five grandchildren, Curtis Johnson and wife Hillary, Christie Clare and husband Richard, Rachel Rochester, Matt Rochester and Dustin Phillips; six great grandchildren; four sisters, Georgia Berry, Elizabethton, Betty Kyte, Williamsburg, Virginia, Peggy Richardson, Johnson City and Darrel Ann Fair and husband Packy, Elizabethton; four brothers, James S.     WILLIAMSBURG, Va. — Betty Jean Campbell Kyte, 90, fell asleep in the arms of Christ Jesus her Lord and Savior on September 13, 2022. She was born on August 9, 1932 in Elizabethton, Tenn., and moved to Williamsburg, Va., in 1955 where she stayed.
    Betty was a charter member of Grace Baptist Church and she continued to worship there until recent months. She retired from York County Public Schools where she served for many years as a kindergarten aid at Magruder and Waller Mill Schools. Betty’s passion in life was raising her five children as Christians and, along with her husband, providing a stable, loving family home. Later, grandchildren became another passion. Betty was always there to assist with taking her grandchildren to school, Fife & Drum practice, having “cousin sleepovers,” singing old-time songs, and preparing holiday meals.
    She was preceded in death by her husband, Martin Kyte; parents, Taft and Grace Bradshaw Campbell; sisters, Mary Evelyn Taylor, Georgia Berry and Carolyn Richards; brothers, Bruce Campbell and Bobby Campbell; grandson, Adam Kyte; and daughter-in-law, Philippia “Happy” Hull Kyte.
    Betty leaves behind siblings, Bo, Paul, Peggy Richardson, Harold and Darrell Ann Fair; children, Greg Kyte (Debbi), John Kyte (Kathy), Rusty Kyte, Karen Helderman (Mike) and Jason Kyte (Amber); grandchildren, Ben Kyte, Spenser Kyte, Trevor Helderman (Jennifer), Harrison Kyte, Daniel Helderman, Jessica Horne and Nathan Horne; great-grandchildren, Evie, Shannun and Levi; and a special sister-in-law, Judy Campbell.

    ELIZABETHTON - James Spencer “Bo” Campbell, age 88, of Elizabethton, Tennessee passed away on Thursday, December 29, 2022 at Ivy Hall Nursing Home. Bo was born in Elizabethton to the late Taft and Grace (Bradshaw) Campbell. In addition to his parents, Bo was also preceded in death by his wife, Jo Ann (Hughes) Campbell; five sisters, Mary Evelyn Taylor, Georgia Berry, Betty Kyte, Peggy Richardson and Carolyn Richards; a brother, Bobby Campbell; and an infant brother, Bruce Campbell.

    Bo was a graduate of Elizabethton High School- Class of 1953 where he was named All State Guard and outstanding athlete in both basketball and track. Bo owned and operated Church Pew Padding by Campbell and had been in the upholstering business since the 1950s. He was a United States Army veteran and a member of First Freewill Baptist Church of Elizabethton where he had previously served as choir leader. Bo also attended Knob Creek Church of the Brethren where he had also served as a choir leader. He was a member of the Gideons and had served as an official for TSSAA Football and basketball. Bo enjoyed fishing, his friends at Lingerfelt Group, spending time with his family and gospel music. Most of all he loved his family and cherished the time spent with them and especially his grandchildren.

    Those left to cherish his memory include two daughters, Cathy Curtis and Jo Ellen Campbell and fiancé Craig McNeil all of Elizabethton; his son, Marc Campbell and wife Laura of Easley, SC; his grandchildren, Andy Curtis and Erica, Ryan Curtis, Hunter Pierson and Brianna, Anna Grace Campbell, Jacob Stokes and Joshua Stokes; his great granddaughter, Avery Curtis; two brothers, Paul Campbell and wife Wanda of Apex, NC and Harold Bill Campbell and wife Lorraine of Elizabethton; a sister, Darrell Ann Fair and husband Packy of Elizabethton; a special sister-in-law, Judy Campbell of Johnson City; and a brother-in-law, Ted Hughes of Johnson City. Several nieces, nephews, along with his special neighbors, Steve and Geneva Burrough and Ken and Diane Long also survive.

    A service to celebrate and honor Bo’s life will be conducted at 7:00 PM on Tuesday, January 3, 2023 in the Chapel of Peace at Tetrick Funeral Home of Elizabethton with Reverend Phil Poston officiating. Music will be under the direction of Grady and Alecia Holder. The family will receive friends from 4:30 PM until 7:00 PM in the funeral home chapel prior to the service on Tuesday. The service will be livestreamed from the chapel.     The graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, January 4, 2023 in the Mountain Home National Cemetery. Military honors will be accorded by Veterans Honor Guard DAV #39. Active pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. Honorary pallbearers will be the Lingerfelt Crew.

    JOHNSON CITY - Bobby Lee Campbell, age 74, of Johnson City, Tennessee passed away on Thursday, January 23, 2020 at the Johnson City Medical Center, following a brief illness. Bobby was born in Elizabethton, Tennessee to the late Taft and Grace Bradshaw Campbell. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Evelyn Taylor and Carolyn Richards; and one brother, Bruce Campbell.

    Bobby was a devoted husband, who loved his family and passionately cared for them. He loved his God, family and his flag and loved helping others. Bobby had worked for Wells Fargo as an armed guard then became part owner of Capital Armored Services, when he retired. He proudly served his country in the Tennessee Army National Guard and was a member of Elizabethton Church of Christ. Bobby, along with his wife, competed in many marathons all over the United States and internationally, having ran in more than 50 marathons. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing.

    Those left to cherish his memories include his loving wife of 52 ½ years, Judy Harmon Campbell; four sisters, Georgia Berry, of Elizabethton, Betty Kyte, of Williamsburg, VA, Peggy Richardson, of Johnson City and Darrell Ann Fair (Packy), of Elizabethton; three brothers, James S. “Bo” Campbell (JoAnn), of Elizabethton, Paul Campbell (Wanda), of Apex, NC and Harold Bill Campbell (Lorraine), of Elizabethton. Also, many nieces and nephews that he loved dearly, as well as his special friends, Janice and Copeland Hicks.

    A service to honor and celebrate the life of Bobby Lee Campbell will be conducted at 7:00 PM on Saturday, January 25, 2020 at Elizabethton Church of Christ with Mr. Roby Ellis, minister, officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM in the church, prior to the service on Saturday.

    The committal and entombment will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Sunday, January 26, 2020 in the Mausoleum of Peace at Happy Valley Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be selected from family and friends.

Culbert; three sisters Lisa & Ron Ragan, Debbie & Jessie Pate Sr., Sharon & Bruce Hall; five grandchildren Shannon Bradshaw, Damien Corby, Evan Ramsey, Kane Pate and Destiny Pate; special nephew Jessie Pate Jr.
