•Obituary-Nickelsville, Va.,- Daniel Kenney [sic Kenny] Salyer, 70, died unexpectedly Friday at 3 p.m. at his Route 1 residence here. A retired farmer, he was a lifelong resident of Scott County and a member of the Point Truth Primitive Baptist Church.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Dora B. Salyer; three daughters, Mrs. Clifford Smith, Detroit, Mich., Mrs. Aaron King, Kingsport, and Mrs. Jack Hill; three sons, Ezra Salyer, Nickelsville, Lonnie Salyer, Weber City, and Roy Salyer of Norton; one sister, Mrs. Bob Hyder, Elizabethton; one brother, Frank Salyer, Johnson City; 24 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
