    Edgar E. Lowe, 39, of Route 3, Mountain City, died in the Appalachian Hospital last night at 10:00.
    He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Florence Lowe; two sons, Jack Lowe and Junior Lowe both of the home; the parents, Mr. And Mrs. J. M. Lowe of Route 3, Mountain City; four sisters, Mrs. Stella Davis of Mountain City, Mrs. Nora Oliver and Mrs. Etoila Sharp both of Elizabethton, and Mrs. George Robinson of Mountain City; and four brothers, Allen Lowe of Ohio, Phillip Lowe of Oak Ridge, Garfield Lowe of Mountain City, and Bill Lowe of Oregon.
    Funeral arrangements are incomplete.
    Tetrick Funeral Home is in charge.

    Funeral services for Edgar E. Lowe, 39, of Route 3, Mountain City, who died in the Appalachian Hospital Tuesday night will be conducted from the Doe Valley Baptist Church Sunday afternoon at 2:00 and the Rev. George Westmoreland officiating. Burial will be in the Brookshire Cemetery.
    Active pallbearers will be Harlow Crosswhite, Halton Robinson, James Oliver, N. W. Davis, George Robinson, and Karl Sharp.
    The body will be moved to the home Friday at 10:00 a.m. from the chapel of the Tetrick Funeral Home.

    Funeral services for Henry Edgar Lowe, 39, of Route 3, Mountain City, who died in the Appalachian Hospital Tuesday night, Valley Baptist Church Sunday at 2:00 p.m. with the Rev. Shumake, the Rev. Ralph Snead and the Rev. George Westmoreland officiating. Burial will be in the Brookshire Cemetery.
    Active pallbearers will be Harlow Crosswhite, Karl Sharp, N. W. Davis, Halton Robison, James Oliver and George Robinson.
    The Body will be moved to the church at 12:30 p.m. Sunday to lie in state until the funeral hour.
    Mr. Lowe is survived by his widow, Mrs. Florence Lowe; two sons, Jack and Junior Lowe, both of the home; the parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. M.     ...39, of Rte. 3, Mountain City, died in the Appalachian Hospital in Johnson City Dec. 9, at 10 o'clock.
    He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Florence Lowe; two sons, Jack and Junior Lowe, at home; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Lowe of route 3; four sisters, Mrs. Stella Davis of Mountain City, Mrs. Nora Oliver and Mrs. Etoila Sharp both of Elizabethton, and Mrs. George Robinson of Mountain City; and four brothers, Allen Lowe of Ohio; Philip Lowe of Oak Ridge, Garfield of Mountain City and Bill Lowe of Oregon.

    Henry married Florence Grace Jordan on 17 Oct 1925 in Carter County, , , Tennessee. Florence (daughter of Cary Hunt "C. H."     MOUNTAIN CITY - Walter Atlee" Jack" Lowe, Sr., 91, of 947 Slabtown Road, Mountain City, Tennessee passed away on Wednesday November 21, 2018, at the Lakebridge Health Care Center of Johnson City, TN.

    Jack was born on August 27, 1927, in Carter County, TN to the late Henry Edgar Lowe, Sr. and Florence Jordan Lowe. Jack was also predeceased in death by his wife Sommai Lowe and stepfather Lionel L.D. Lowe as well as his brother Henry E. Lowe, Jr.

    Mr. Lowe was a true Southern gentleman who loved his country. He served 27 years combined in the TN Guard, US Navy, and US Air Force. He entered the Navy at the ripe age of 17, serving as a radar man during WWII and participated in the A-bomb testing at Bikini Atoll. He became a Shellback and member of the Order of the Neptune after crossing the equator on a ship. He continued his service during the Vietnam War as a Master Sargant in the US Air Force, earning a Bronze Star and serving in the National Emergency Airborne Command Post (NEACP) under the Joint Chiefs of Staff.

    He loved gardening and collecting Oscar winning movies as well as supporting his football teams, the Washington Redskins and the Tennessee Volunteers. Jack was a Graduate of Johnson County High School.

    Those left to cherish his memory are his two daughters; Cat-Thee Dingus and husband Chris, Kingsport, TN and Deborah Sword and husband Ronnie, Oviedo, FL; a son, Walter 'Dub' Lowe and wife Louise, Aurora, CO; grandchildren, Catelin Dingus, Katherine Sword, and Ron Sword; his former spouse and friend Mary Lou Hajducsek.

    The family of Jack Lowe would like to thank Dr. David Jones, the VA Hospital at Mountain Home, Lakebridge Health Care Center, and Visiting Angels, especially Sara Reece.

    Funeral Services for Walter Atlee 'Jack' Lowe Sr. will be conducted at 6pm Sunday, November 25, 2018, at the Charles B. Hux Chapel of Hux & Lipford Funeral Home with Chaplin Dwight McPherson to officiate. The family will receive friends from 5pm to 6pm prior to the funeral service.

    Graveside service with Military Honors Accorded by the Johnson County Honor Guard will be held at 11am Monday, November 26, 2018, in the Lowe Cemetery on Slabtown Road.
