SMYRNA, GA - Brenda M. Elliott age 71, of Smyrna Georgia, formally of Elizabethton Tennessee, passed away on Sunday, December 15, 2019.

She is preceded in death by her three sisters Erma Muse, Ima Morefield, Lois Jean Oaks and nephew Christopher Oaks. She is the daughter of the late Dewey D. Morefield and Ella Ray Morefield. She was a retired Real-estate Agent/Broker for 30 years. She was always a lady of elegance, grace and style who was devoted to her children and grandson, as well as an avid cook.

She is survived by her daughter, Beth Elliott; her son, Lance Elliott and his husband Jeff Aron; Her sister, Barbara Minor and her husband Charles Minor; 1 grandchild, Christopher Tarr, as well as several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, December 21, 2019 at Tetrick Funeral Services of Johnson City. The Family will receive friends and loved ones at the funeral home after 12:00 noon until the hour of service. Burial will be held in Happy Valley Memorial Park Cemetery immediately following service, with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Charles Minor, Bill Muse Sr., Lynn Taylor, Dr. Keith Morley and Rick Ramsey.

Ella married Dewey Dallas Morefield on 28 May 1932 in Johnson County, , , Tennessee. Dewey (son of John Riley Morefield and Margaret E. Gentry) was born about 1898 in Johnson County, , , Tennessee; died about 1976 in Carter County, , , Tennessee; was buried in Happy Valley Memorial Park, , Carter County, Tennessee.
