    Notes:

    Charles Edward Ledford, 75, of Elizabethton, passed away Monday, February 2, 2013, at Life Care Center of Elizabethton following an extended illness.
    A native of Carter County, he was a son of the late Frank and Bertha Guinn Ledford.
    Mr. Ledford was a 1957 graduate of Happy Valley High School and attended Elizabethton Business College. He served in the United States Air Force.
    Mr. Ledford was a retired superintendent with Kennametal, Johnson City. He attended West Side Christian Church and was a former Director of the Boys Club.
    In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, J.D. Ledford.
    Survivors include his wife, Barbara Scutt Ledford; two daughters, Karen Ledford and Donna Ledford, both of Elizabethton; two sons, Gary Ledford and wife Kate, Hickory, N.C., and Michael Ledford, Spartanburg, S.C.; 12 grandchildren; one great-grandson; three sisters, Phyllis Malone, Johnson City, JoAnn Adams and Mary Alice Culler, both of Elizabethton; and a brother, Roger Ledford and wife Claudia, Elizabethton. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
    Graveside services for Mr. Ledford for immediate family and friends will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday, February 6, in the Mountain Home National Cemetery.

    Notes:

    Mary Alice Ledford Culler, 79, Elizabethton, passed away Monday, March 18, 2019, in the Sycamore Shoals Hospital after a brief illness. A native of Carter County, she was a daughter of the late Frank & Bertha Guinn Ledford. Mrs. Culler was employed for 20 years with the Carter County School System as a cook at Valley Forge Elementary School. She attended Upper Gap Creek Free Will Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers: J.D. & Charles Ledford. Sewing was her hobby.

    Survivors include two sons: Rick Culler & wife Robin, Elizabethton and Keith Culler, Milligan College. Four Grandchildren: Abby Green & husband Adam, Travis Culler, Heather Culler and Chris Vestal & wife BJ. Her Grandchildren: Emmy Green, Nevaeh & Taylor Vestal and Preston Vestal. One Brother: Roger Ledford & wife Claudia, Elizabethton, Two Sisters: JoAnn Adams & husband Joe, Hampton and Phyllis Malone & husband Dean, Johnson City. Several nieces & nephews.

    Funeral Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, March 22, 2019, in Memorial Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Gary Edwards officiating. Interment will follow in the Lyons Cemetery. Active Pallbearers will be: Joe Adams, Roger Ledford, Bret Hamilton, Chris Barnett, Travis Culler, Brian Malone and Tim Malone. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Dean Malone, Jason Henegar, Steve Henegar, family and friends.
