    Notes:

    Terry Eugene White, 69, of Elizabethton, was called home to be with Jesus early Sunday morning, January 20, 2019. He was born in Carter County, Tenn., April 22, 1949 to the late Tobie and Ama Oliver White. He accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and was of the Baptist faith.
    Terry was retired from TPI but had also driven a taxi cab in Elizabethton in his early years. As a young man he had earned numerous trophies for his skills as an amateur boxer.
    In addition to his parents, Terry was preceded in death by his wife, Paulette Campbell White; his sister, Elma Heaton of Johnson City; his brothers, infant Samuel Tobie White Jr. of Old Butler, Tenn., Lynn Almon of Paducah, Ky., and Kenneth White of Hampton.
    Survivors include his four daughters, Amy White of Maryville, Tenn., and her mother, Wilma Jackson, Terry's first wife, of Bluff City, Tenn., Geneva Smith and husband Paul of Johnson City, Joy Taylor and husband Phillip of Stoney Creek, and Julie Waters and fiancé Danny Burchett of Elizabethton, Tenn. He has one son, Toby White and wife Tammi of Johnson City, Tenn. Terry took great pride in his family and cherished spending time with his 14 grandchildren, four step-grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Terry has one surviving brother, Larry White Sr. of Johnson City. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces and cousins.
    The family will receive friends and family from 5 to 6 p.m. prior to the service. Funeral services will be held from 6 to 7 p.m. Saturday, January 26, at Memorial Funeral Chapel. It was Terry's wish to be cremated.
