6. | Carolyn Ferrell ![]() Notes: Mrs. Carolyn P. Ferrell Williams, 55, of Neeses, died Saturday, May 21, 1994, at her residence. The funeral was held at 2 p.m. Monday at Mount Beulah P.H. Church, with the Rev. Ronald Street, the Rev. William Welch, the Rev. Reggie Thames and the Rev. Emery Martin officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery. Mrs. Williams was born in Johnson City, Tenn., a daughter of the late George Washington Ferrell and Mary Ann Tolly Ferrell. She was a member of Mount Beulah P.H. Church. Survivors include her husband, Vernon Williams of the home; a son, Kyle Williams of Neeses; two sisters, Mrs. Roxie Jones of Taylor, Mich., and Ms. Gail Ferrell of Elizabethton, Tenn.; four brothers, Lester E. Brummett of Plymouth, Mich., Don L. Brummett and Gerald D. Brummett, both of Bowling Green, Fla., and Joe Ferrell of Johnson City, Tenn.; a stepdaughter, Betty Fox of Aiken; a foster sister, Mrs. Laura Barnett of Johnson City, Tenn.; two stepgrandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews. Vernon was born on 7 Aug 1926 in Orangeburg County, , , South Carolina; died on 30 May 2006 in Orangeburg County, , , South Carolina; was buried in Mount Beulah Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery, , Orangeburg County, South Carolina. 7. | Joe Ferrell ![]() Notes: TELFORD - Joe Ferrell, 77, Telford departed from his earthly life on Saturday, June 3, 2023 surrounded by his loving family. Joe was born in Johnson City to the late George and Mary Tolley Ferrell. He was a graduate of Happy Valley High School where he played basketball. Joe was also a Little League Coach for 20 years. He was a member of Antioch Baptist Church where he frequently drove the church bus and assisted in the nursery. Joe’s career began at Allied Metals at age 17 and worked there until his retirement. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Roxie Jones and Carolyn Williams and three brothers, Don Brummett, Lester Brummett and Kyle Ferrell. |
