    Notes:

    June Houston, 94, of Elizabethton, went home to be with her Lord on Saturday, July 16, 2016.
    A native of Butler, Tenn., she was the daughter of the late James Maynard Gentry and Gusta Leigh Stout.
    In addition to her parents, June was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Sidney Houston, and his children, Ladeau, Grady and Larry; previous husbands, Fred Riddle and James Cross; and a precious great-granddaughter, Heather Marie Row.
    Those left to cherish her memory include two daughters, Gladys and husband Bert Plummer of Elizabethton, and Ruth Ann and husband David Peters of Elizabethton; four grandchildren, Roland Eugene Blankenship of Elizabethton, Veronica Ann and husband Timothy Osborne of Erwin, Joyce Davena and Ray Smith of Albuquerque, N.M., and Jennifer Ann Treadway of Evington, Va.; five great-grandchildren, Stephanie and husband Adam Baumgartner of Knoxville, Tenn., Michael Row of Seminole, Texas, Jordan Kelly Rapert of Clyde, N.C., AmberLee Row of Albuquerque, N.M., and Bethany Nicole Rapert of Erwin, Tenn.; and one great-great-granddaughter, Natalie Claire Baumgartner of Knoxville, Tenn. June loved the entire Houston family as her own.
    Graveside services for June Houston will be conducted at 3 p.m. Saturday, July 23, in the Houston Family Cemetery, Watauga, with the Rev. Dennis Wilson officiating.
