    Lucille Guinn Collins, 85, of Elizabethton, passed away Saturday, March 30, 2019, surrounded by her family. Lucille was born November 16, 1933 to the late Claude and Rachel Puckett Guinn. She attended Elizabethton High School, was a member of East River Park Christian Church and enjoyed spending time with her family.
    In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Thomas Puckett, Mack Guinn and L.D. Guinn, and the father of her children, Billy Collins.
    Survivors include her two sons, Jackie Collins (Tami) and Bobby Collins (Connie), both of Elizabethton; eight grandchildren, Davey Collins (Tara), Dustin Collins (Lindsey), Jacquelyn Collins, Macy Collins, Brandon Collins (Brittany), Bryant Collins (Nikki), Bud Hicks and Chase Frye Austin (Katie); nine great-grandchildren, Tyler, Katlyn, Logan, Emmie, Aubrey, Ariana, Weston, Brylee and Oaklyn; five siblings, Pauline McKinney, Erma Stevens (Roy Forbes), Ed Guinn (Dean), Louise Whitehead (Carmon) and Rosie Lewis (Gordon); and two sisters-in-law, Audrey Puckett and Ruby Guinn.
    A service to honor the life of Lucille Guinn Collins will be conducted at 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 2, in the Chapel of Peace, Tetrick Funeral Home, Elizabethton, with Pastor Estel Williams and Pastor Doug Hinshaw officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5 to 7 p.m., prior to the service, and at other times at the residence of her son, Bobby Collins. The graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 3, in the Pearl Bowers Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Davey Collins, Dustin Collins, Brandon Collins, Bryant Collins, Bud Hicks, Jordan Clark and Chase Frye Austin.

    Lucille married Willard G. "Billy" Collins about 1955 in Carter County, , , Tennessee.     Pauline Flo Guinn McKinney, 87, Elizabethton, passed away Wednesday, June 1, 2022, at Hillview Health Center after a brief illness. She was born April 8, 1935 in Carter County to the late Claude and Rachel Puckett Guinn.
    Pauline was a retired employee of Inland Container after 40 years of service. She was a member of Hunter United Methodist Church. She loved to cook, go camping and take care of people.
    In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert Bob Nidiffer, and her second husband, Jack McKinney; a sister, Lucille Guinn Collins; and four brothers, Ed Guinn, L.D. Guinn, Mack Guinn and Thomas Puckett.
    Survivors include her sisters, Erma Stevens, Louise (Carmon) Whitehead and Rose (Gordon) Lewis; several nieces and nephews; a sister-in-law, Dean Guinn; and her special friends, Jim and Addie Hyder and Ford and Karen Julian.
    Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 4, at Memorial Funeral Chapel with Pastor Estel Williams and Pastor Mike Berry officiating. Interment will follow at Happy Valley Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be Jackie Collins, Bobby Collins, Stevie Guinn, Randy Guinn, Michael Whitehead, Terry Whitehead, Max Guinn and Jeff Lewis.

    Buried:
    Edward Guinn, 84, of Elizabethton, Tenn., went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 26, 2022, from the Johnson City Medical Center. Edward was born in Carter County, Tenn., to the late Claude and Rachel Puckett Guinn. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Lucille Ownby, and his brothers, Tom (Audrey) Puckett, L.D. (Ruby) Guinn and Mack Guinn.
    Edward had worked in construction for various employers including the TPI Corporation for 10 years. He was a member of Southside Freewill Baptist Church. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.
    Those left to cherish Edward’s memory include his loving and devoted wife of 62-1/2 years, Eula ‘Dean’ Guinn, of the home; his son, Steve (Jannie) Guinn of Elizabethton; his granddaughters, Margo (Robert) Davenport of Knoxville, Tenn., Monica (Darien) Hamm of Bristol Tenn., and Megan Guinn of Knoxville, Tenn.; a great-granddaughter, Paisley Davenport of Knoxville, Tenn.; his sisters, Flo “Pauline” McKinney of Elizabethton, his twin sister, Erma Stevens of Elizabethton, Louise (Carmen) Whitehead of Elizabethton and Rose (Gordon) Lewis of Elizabethton; and his sisters-in-law, Pauline Ahrens of Elizabethton and Wanda Morgan of Martinsville, Va. Several nieces and nephews as well as his special friends, Lester Julian, Dewey and Scharee Hill and Jack and Karen Presnell, also survive.
    A service to celebrate the life of Edward Guinn will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, January 30, in the Chapel of Tetrick Funeral Home, Elizabethton, with Pastor Jeremy Burleson and Pastor Steve Burleson officiating. The family will receive friends in the funeral home chapel from 12:30 until 2 p.m. Sunday, prior to the service, or at the residence at anytime. The graveside service will follow in the George Mottern Cemetery in Watauga. Active pallbearers will be Darien Hamm, Robert Davenport, Chris Childers, Lester Julian, Freddy Julian, Gordon Lewis, Keith Lowe, Jack Presnell, Doug Colbaugh and Rick Renfro. Honorary pallbearers will be Bobby Collins, Jackie Collins, Jeff Lewis, Terry Whitehead, Carmen Whitehead, Michael Whitehead, Steve Burleson, Dawson Fair, Dewey Hill and Reverend Bobby Stout.

    ELIZABETHTON - Mr. Lewis "LD" Guinn, age 76, 313 East H Street, Elizabethton, TN passed away Sunday, October 4, 2015 in the Johnson City Medical Center following an extended illness. A native of Carter County, he was a son of the late Claude and Rachel Puckett Guinn. "LD" retired as a bread man from Flowers Bakery. After his retirement he worked as a funeral assistant with Hathaway-Percy Funeral Home for ten years. "LD" was a member of Southside Freewill Baptist Church, Elizabethton where he served as deacon. He was a great handyman and was known as Mr. Fix-it. "LD" loved his family and was an avid NASCAR fan. He especially enjoyed attending the Rod Runs in Pigeon Forge every year with his family.

    In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Mack Guinn and by a half-brother, Tom Puckett. Survivors include his wife of fifty-five years, Ruby Birchfield Guinn, of the home; a son, Randy Guinn and his fiancé Kristin Powell, of Elizabethton; a daughter, Julie Canter and her husband Westley, Jonesborough, TN; grandchildren, Stacey Guinn, Austin Guinn, Logan Guinn, Westley Canter Jr. and Mercedes Canter; several great-grandchildren and brothers and sisters, Lucille Owenby, Pauline McKinney, Erma Lee Stevens, Rose Lewis and her husband Gordon, Louise Whitehead and her husband Carmen and Ed Guinn and his wife Dean, all of Elizabethton. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

    A service to honor the life of Mr. Lewis "LD" Guinn will be conducted at 7:00 P.M. Wednesday, October 7, 2015 in the Sunset Chapel of Hathaway-Percy Funeral and Cremation Services with Pastor Steve Burleson officiating. Music will be under the direction of Mr. Jeremy Burleson. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 – 7:00 P.M. on Wednesday or at the residence at other times. Graveside service and interment will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, October 8, 2015 in Happy Valley Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be Dave Ferguson, Charlie Birchfield, Steve Birchfield, Wesley Whaley, Westley Canter Jr., and Stacey Guinn. Honorary pallbearers will be Jack Smith and Logan Guinn. Those wishing to attend the graveside service are asked to meet at the funeral home at 10:15 A.M. on Thursday to go in procession to the cemetery.
