ELIZABETHTON - June Campbell Estep, 85, Elizabethton went home to be with her Lord, Sunday March 27, 2016 in the Sycamore Shoals Hospital. A native of Carter County, she was a daughter of the late Harry Campbell, Sr. and Florence Bowling Campbell. Mrs. Estep was an employee of 7 hour Laundry for several years. She was a member of East Fairview Free Will Baptist Church and the Messenger Sunday School Class of First Baptist Church. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren and working with crafts. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son: David Estep, Jr. and a brother: Harry Campbell, Jr.

Survivors include her husband of 69 years: David Estep. Three Children: Margaret (Robert) Luttrell, Judy Estep and Sandra Perkins all of Elizabethton. Five Grandchildren: Jennifer (Chris) Carter, Norman (Linda) Markland, Lisa (Jason) Norris, Brandy (Chris) Higginbothan and Robby (Kristen) Luttrell. Nine Great Grandchildren: Bo Carter, Schaun Carter, Cassie Graybeal, Russell Carter, Brianna Markland, Seth Carter, Malachi Higginbotham, Abby Luttrell and Katie Luttrell. Several nieces & nephews. Her special friends: Sandy Stevens and Ruthie Lovelace.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 7 p.m. Wednesday in Memorial Funeral Chapel with Rev. Norman Markland, Jr. and Rev. Greg Largent officiating. Graveside Service and Interment will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 31, 2016 in the Highland Cemetery. Music will be the Men of Hunter Memorial Baptist Church. Active Pallbearers who are requested to assemble at the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. Thursday will be: Chris, Russell, Seth, Bo and Schaun Carter, Craig Ingram and John Kelley. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Jimmy Hopson, Billy Brock, Conley Fenner, James Nave, Harry Carden, R.N. Estep, Jeff Hilton, Glen Nave, Charles Nave, Clarence Green and Danny Ray Estep.

Ollie married David Maine Estep on 30 Aug 1947 in Carter County, , , Tennessee. David (son of William T. Estep and Fannie Mae Parker) was born on 14 Apr 1930 in Carter County, , , Tennessee; died on 17 Jan 2022 in Carter County, , , Tennessee; was buried in Highland Cemetery, , Carter County, Tennessee.
