    ELIZABETHTON — Linda Sue Estep Ayers, 74, Elizabethton passed away on Tuesday, July 19, 2016, in the Johnson City Medical Center after a brief illness.

    A native of Carter County, she was a daughter of the late William Earl & Bonnie Hodge Estep. Linda was a 1959 graduate of Unaka High School and attended Milligan College. She was retired from the First Tennessee Human Resource Agency. She was a member of the Hunter United Methodist Church.

    Survivors include her children: Robin Ayers & friend, Kenny Pack, Greeneville, Beth Hughes & husband Mike, Limestone and William "Bill" Ayers and wife Penny, Elizabethton; three grandchildren, Gary Joe Malone and wife Krystal, Cody Ayers and wife Emily and Austin Ayers; two great grandchildren, Kane Malone and Jaxon Ayers; brother, Larry J. Estep, Blountville; one niece; several cousins & friends; a special friend, Robert Johnson.

    Funeral Services will be conducted at 7 p.m. on Friday in Memorial Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Estel Williams officiating.

    Graveside Service and Interment will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday in the Grindstaff-Combs Cemetery. Active Pallbearers who are requested to assemble at the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday will be: Gary Joe Malone, Cody Ayers, Austin Ayers, Mark Bradwell, Kenny Pack, Mike Hughes and William Wiggins.
