    Notes:

    Mrs. Minnie Lyons McKeehan, 97, 284 Tester Road, Elizabethton died Tuesday, January 12, 2010 in Sycamore Shoals Hospital following a brief illness. A native of Carter County, she was the daughter of the late Sam and Ellen Arnett Lyons. Mrs. McKeehan was a homemaker and she was a member of Lynn Avenue Church of God.

    In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Taylor McKeehan; a son, Roy McKeehan; a grandson, Howard Lee McKeehan Jr.; three sons-in-law, Nick Bartalone, William R. Kite and Thomas Herman; five brothers, Harrison Lyons, Alvin Lyons, Jack Lyons, Joe Lyons and Anderson Lyons and a sister, Geneva Hubbard. Survivors include three sons, Norman "Buddy" McKeehan and Howard McKeehan, both of Spruce Pine, NC and Ralph E. McKeehan, Elizabethton; seven daughters, Ola Kite, Kingsport; Peggy Johnson and Pearl Solis, both of Hobbs, New Mexico; Phyllis Bartalone, Elizabethton, Kay Herman, Johnson City, Margaret Lewis, Elizabethton and Wanalynn Chapman, Jonesborough; two brothers, Edward Lyons, Johnson City and Sam Lyons Jr., Indiana and three sisters, Annie Tester, Elizabethton, Martha Fuller, Phoenix, Arizona and Mary Lou Freeman, North Carolina. Numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.

    Funeral service for Mrs. Minnie Lyons McKeehan will be conducted at 7:00 P.M. Thursday, January 14, 2010 in the Sunset Chapel of Hathaway-Percy Funeral Home with Rev. Scott Greene officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00-7:00 P.M. on Thursday prior to the funeral service.

    Graveside service and interment will be conducted at 10:00 A.M. Friday, January 15, 2010 in McKeehan Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. Everyone will meet at the cemetery at 9:50 A.M. on Friday for the graveside service.

    The family would like to express special thanks to Pine Ridge Care Center for their loving care to their mother.

    Minnie married Henry Taylor McKeehan about 1932 in Carter County, , , Tennessee. Henry (son of Henry Lewis McKeehan and Amanda F. Dugger) was born on 10 Jan 1912 in Carter County, , , Tennessee; died on 28 Nov 1994 in Carter County, , , Tennessee; was buried in McKeehan Cemetery, , Carter County, Tennessee.     Anna Evelyn Lyons Tester, 98, Elizabethton went home to be with her Lord, Tuesday, June 30, 2015, in the Johnson City Medical Center, surrounded by her family and her church family.

    A native of Carter County, she was a daughter of the late Sam D. & Sara Ellen Arnett Lyons. She was retired from the American Bemberg Corporation.

    Mrs. Tester faithfully attended Zion Baptist Church where she enjoyed worshipping with her church family. She was a member of First Church of God. She loved both church families. Mrs. Tester loved working in her flowers and enjoyed sharing them with her friends.

    In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Raymond Tester in 1998, by a son: Charles Tester, two sisters: Geneva Hubbard and Minnie McKeehan and seven brothers: Harrison, Anderson, Joe, Edd, Alvin, Jack & Samuel Junior Lyons.

    Survivors include Her Grandsons: Mike Tester and wife Lori, Clearwater, Florida and Drew Tester and wife Jessica, Richmond, Virginia. Two Great Grandchildren: Belle & Ruby. Two Sisters: Martha Fuller, Glendale, Arizona and Mary Lou Graves and husband Godfrey, Murphy, North Carolina. Several Nieces & Nephews including a special niece, Wilma L. Hayes and her special friends: Shirley Cole, Tim McAmis , Gary Townsend, Mike's mother, Ana Ruth Tester. and the mother of her Grandchildren: Margarette Tester.

    A Service to Celebrate the Life of Anna Tester will be conducted at 7 p.m. on Thursday, July 2, 2015, in the Zion Baptist Church with Dr. Alan King and Pastor Bob Shupe.

    Graveside Service and Interment will be at 12 Noon on Friday, July 3, 2015, in Happy Valley Memorial Park. Active Pallbearers, who are requested to assemble at the church at 6:50 p.m. on Thursday and also at the funeral home at 11:20 a.m. on Friday, will be: Kirk Hayes, Tim McAmis, Sam Lyons, Jerry Lyons, Shelby Lyons, Rick Hubbard and Bobby Babb. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Her Church family, Gary Townsend, Ralph Hyder, Caleb King and Kenneth Hayes.

    A native of Carter County, he was a son of the late William Austin and Geneva Lyons Hubbard. He was a retired Building Contractor. Mr. Hubbard was a member of the Apostolic Christian Church.

    In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three sisters: Stella Sizemore, Ann Banks and Maggie Babb; two brothers: Bill and Alfred Hubbard.

    Survivors include Two Daughters: Sharon Hubbard, Elizabethton, and Sheila Hubbard, Johnson City; Two Sons & Daughters-in-Law: Sammy & Jewel Hubbard, Elizabethton, and Larry & Sonia Hubbard, Johnson City; Two Brothers: Jerry Hubbard and wife, Denise, of Arizona, and Ricky Hubbard, Elizabethton; Four Sisters: Charlotte Hyder and husband, Ralph, Elizabethton, Mary Coleman, Winston-Salem, North Carolina, Shelby Cranford and Brenda Poteat and husband "Tootie," all of North Carolina; four grandchildren; and four great grandchildren; Several nieces & nephews.

    Funeral Services will be conducted at 12 Noon Saturday in Memorial Funeral Chapel with Pastor Ed Davis officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be selected from family members. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until the service hour Saturday.

    A native of Carter County, he was a son of the late William Austin and Geneva Lyons Hubbard. He was a retired Construction Worker. Mr. Hubbard was a member of Watauga Masonic Lodge #622. Mr. Hubbard had made Pork Rinds at the Tri Cities Flea Market for over 40 years. He was a Free Will Baptist.

    In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters, Stella Sizemore, Ann Banks and Maggie Babb; and one brother, Bill Hubbard.

    Survivors include his wife of 45 years: Frankie Roberts Hubbard; One Son, Jeffrey Hubbard, West Virginia; One Daughter, Karen Whaley and a special friend, Rick Conner, both of Elizabethton; Three Granddaughters: Kayla Whaley, Elizabethton, Kandi Hubbard and Brandi Hubbard; Great Grandson: Dalton Riley Beam, Newland, North Carolina; Three Brothers: Luther Hubbard, Johnson City, and Jerry Hubbard and wife, Denise, of Arizona, Ricky Hubbard, Elizabethton; Four Sisters: Charlotte Hyder and husband, Ralph, of Elizabethton, Mary Coleman, Winston-Salem, NC, Shelby Cranford and Brenda Poteat and husband "Tootie," of North Carolina; A brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Carl & Linda Roberts, Elizabethton; A very special Mother-in-Law: Myrtle Roberts; His special friends: Linda and Ralph Trivette, of Elizabethton; Several Nieces & Nephews.

    Funeral Services will be conducted at 7 p.m. Thursday in Memorial Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Shane Waters and Rev. Arnold Hensley officiating.

    Graveside Service and Interment will be at 1 p.m. Friday, November 21, 2008, in the Lyons Chapel Cemetery. Music will be provided by Shane Blevins and C.J. Roberts.

    Active Pallbearers, who are requested to assemble at the cemetery at 12:50 p.m. Friday, will be: Dwayne Sexton, Dillard Shell, Richard Miller, Steve Harrett, Johnny Walker and Eddie Roberts. Honorary pallbearers will be: Carl Roberts, Mark Roberts, Rick Conner, Steve Babb, Michael Babb, Bobby Babb, David Roberts and Michael Hubbard.
