    Notes:

    Kay Church, age 63, of Eliz-a-beth-ton, went home to be with the Lord on March 18, 2015, from her res-i-dence.
    Kay was a na-tive of Carter County and was a daugh-ter of the late But-ler and Mary Scalf Jen-kins. In ad-di-tion to her par-ents, she was pre-ceded by three broth-ers, Le-roy Hill, De-nis Hill and Ricky Hill; a sis-ter, Della Mae Daven-port; and a brother-in-law, Bill El-li-ott.
    Kay was the caf-e-te-ria man-ager at Hamp-ton Ele-men-tary School and was of the Bap-tist faith. She en-joyed spend-ing time with her grand-chil-dren and "her kids" at Hamp-ton Ele-men-tary, cook-ing and spend-ing her sum-mers by the swim-ming pool.
    Left to cher-ish her mem-ory is her hus-band, Rick Church, of the home; two daugh-ters, Cindy Church Steven-son and her hus-band, Doug, and Re-nee McNeal and her hus-band, Steve, all of Eliz-a-beth-ton; her grand-chil-dren, Tessa Steven-son and Ryleigh McNeal; her broth-ers, Gary Hill and wife, Judy, Terry Scalf and wife Gale, Paul Hill and wife, Carol, and Ce-cil Hill and wife, Norma; and her sis-ters, Sue El-li-ott and Betty Mathes and hus-band, Chuck, all of Eliz-a-beth-ton. Sev-eral nieces and neph-ews, in-clud-ing Terra Scalf, Travis Scalf, Deana Jen-kins, Woody Lyons, Benny Lyons, Bo Lyons, Tim Lyons, Crys-tal Kuhn, Bobby El-li-ott, Billy El-li-ott, Tammy Hill, Missy Mar-low and Greg Hill, as well as her spe-cial friends, Bar-bara Eg-gers, Kevin Ward, Sue Pritchard, Sherry McIn-tosh, Bill Blevins, Krista Ram-sey, Marisa Pot-ter, Rita Way-caster, Nancy Mur-ray, Jean Payne; and spe-cial lit-tle boy, Collin Guinn.
    A ser-vice to honor the life of Kay Church will be con-ducted at 7:00 PM on Fri-day, March 20, 2015, in the gym-na-sium of Hamp-ton Ele-men-tary School with Rev. Ron-nie Camp-bell and Rev. Shane Waters of-fi-ci-at-ing. Mu-sic will be pro-vided by Terra Scalf and Va-nessa Cox.
    The fam-ily will re-ceive friends from 4:00 PM-7:00 PM in the gym-na-sium, prior to the ser-vice on Fri-day. The fam-ily re-quests that ev-ery-one wear their "Pray for Kay" shirts, in honor of Miss Kay.
    The grave-side ser-vice will be con-ducted at 11:00 AM on Satur-day, March 21, 2015, in the Hardin Ceme-tery. Ac-tive pall-bear-ers will be James Kyte, Steve McNeal, Doug Steven-son, Travis Scalf, Bobby El-li-ott, Woody Lyons, Tim Lyons, Benny Lyons, Bo Lyons and Billy El-li-ott. Honor-ary pall-bear-ers will be Car-mon Dug-ger, Howard Matherly, Jim An-drews, Cheyenne Camillo, Wes-ley Mur-ray, Kelly Crain, the fac-ulty and staff of Hamp-ton Ele-men-tary School and all of the stu-dents through-out the years.
