    Mrs. Buckles was a member of the Lynn Valley Baptist Church.

    She was a homemaker.

    Funeral services for Mrs. Wilma Juanita Buckles, 80, were conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday, February 23, 2003 in Memorial Funeral Chapel.

    Entombment was held in the Mausoleum of Peace, Happy Valley Memorial Park.

    Notes:

    ELIZABETHTON - Teresa A. Buckles, 72, Elizabethton passed away on Friday, May 10, 2019 at the Hermitage Health Care Facility, after an extended illness.

    A native of Carter County, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Juanita Elliott Buckles. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Eddie Buckles. She was a Graduate of Unaka High School and attended East Tennessee State University. Teresa was a Medical Administrative Assistant, at the Mountain Home Veteran's Hospital, and retired after over 40 years of service. She was a member of Lynn Valley Baptist Church. Teresa loved to travel with her dear friends and spend time with her family.

    Survivors include her niece, Tracy Buckles and nephew, Lance (Sissy) Buckles. She also left behind her sister-in-law, Shirley Buckles. Teresa leaves behind a great nephew, Chris (Morgan) Buckles and a great great niece, Mackenzie Blevins. She will also be greatly missed by her special friends, Ella Carol Peters, Alma Montgomery, and Phyllis Little.

    It was Teresa's wish to be cremated and have a private Celebration of her Life by her close family. The family would like to express gratitude to Hermitage Health Care Facility for the excellent care.
