CHARLES M. WAGNER…
… 77, member of a pioneer family of Johnson County, died at his home here Monday at 7:00 p.m., following a lingering illness.
Mr. Wagner was in the mercantile business for 35 years, and later became affiliated with the state finance department. He was an active member of the Methodist Church, and served as superintendent of the Sunday school for a number of years.
He was twice married. His first wife, the former Miss May Murphey, died in 1918. His second wife, the former Mrs. Elizabeth Whitaker, survives him.
In addition to Mrs. Wagner, he is survived by four children of his first marriage: Paul M. Wagner, Dallas, Tex.; Mrs. Charles Ball, Middleburg, Va.; Mrs. J. Q. Thomas, Mountain City; Mrs. J. Hughes Mast, Damascus, Va.; and one step-son Malcolm Whitaker, Abingdon, Va.; and four grandchildren, and three sisters, Mrs. Julia Newberry, Monroe, Ga.; Mrs. Carrie Donnelly, Johnson City, and Mrs. R. P. London, Johnson City. Also by three brothers, Hugh Wagner, Salisaw, Okla.; James I. Wagner, Mountain City, and King Wagner, Tulsa, Okla.
Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. yesterday at the Methodist Church in Mountain City, Rev. Parker, pastor, assisted by W. F. Ledford, A. E. Browne, and Joel Ponder, officiated. Interment followed in Mountain View Cemetery.

Mountain City, November 16 – Among those from Abingdon, Va. attending the funeral of Charles M. Wagner last week were Mr. and Mrs. John L. Musick, Mrs. Ollie Whiteaker, and two daughters, Mr. and Mrs. John A. Gilmer, Miss Emily Gilmer, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Branson, Charles H. Mrs. Julia Newberry has returned to her home at Monroe, Ga. after being at the bedside of her brother, Charles M. Wagner for several days.

ELIZABETHTON - Edith Finney, age 94, of Elizabethton, passed away on Saturday, November 23, 2019 at Sycamore Shoals Hospital.

She was a daughter of the late Parker G. and Nettie Cable Main and was born on February 11, 1925 in Butler, TN. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Delmer Finney and three brothers, Edgar "Bud" Main, W.K. "Bob" Main and Parker G. Main, Jr.

Edith was a happy and caring person who was always ready to help others in need. She was a long-time member of Sims Hill Christian Church who regularly attended all of the services and activities as long as her health permitted. She was also a member of the Carter County Humane Society for over twenty years.

Edith loved being a homemaker and was known for her cozy and inviting home that she always enjoyed decorating for the holidays. She loved gardening and was proud of preserving the vegetables that she had grown. She was blessed to have many friends and enjoyed life.

Those left to cherish her memory include two sisters, Stella Tester of Elizabethton and Mary Jo Laws of Butler; a niece, Penny White of Elizabethton; a nephew, Larry Finney of Elizabethton; special friends and relatives including: Peggy Davenport, Shelia Woods, Mack and Linda Henry, Bill and Sharron Hampton and other nieces, nephews and cousins who were all special to Edith.

A service to celebrate the life of Edith Finney will be conducted at 7:00 PM on Tuesday, November 26, 2019 in the Chapel of Peace of Tetrick Funeral Home, Elizabethton with Mr. Brett Jones, Minister officiating. Music will be under the direction of Mrs. Sheila Woods. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 7:00 PM on Tuesday, prior to the funeral service.

The graveside service and interment will be conducted at 1:00 PM Wednesday, November 27, 2019 at the Whitehead Cemetery in Butler. Active pallbearers will be selected from the men of Sims Hill Christian Church.

Mary Jo Laws, 86, Butler, went home to be with the Lord, on Saturday, April 22, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. Mary Jo was the daughter of the late P.G. and Nettie Cable Main. She worked as a homemaker, caregiver and her favorite job as the “Chef” at Toddler Time Daycare. Mary Jo was a very loving and giving person who made sure her children and grandchildren were taken care of before herself. She loved flowers and animals, especially her ducks, Bob and Sally. She was a member of Elk River Baptist Church. In addition to her parents Mary Jo was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Haskel “Sonny” Laws; two sisters, Edith Finney and Stella Tester; three brothers, Bud, Bob and P.G. Jr. (June); and son-in-law, Roger Woods. She is survived by three daughters, Sharon (Wes) Asher, Sheila Woods and Sonya Hardin; five grandchildren, Brandy Trivett (James), Kristal (Greg) Andrews, Samantha (Josh) Hinson, D.J. A native of Carter County, (Fish Springs Community) she was a daughter of the late Frank & Sallie Main Smith. Mrs. Cutlip attended Watauga Academy, Butler. She was employed as a LPN at the former Carter County Memorial Hospital for several years. She was a member of the Daughters of The American Revolution, a member of the Hampton Eastern Star and a member of Rittertown Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Frank Edward Cutlip, December 20, 2000, by two daughters: Ranell Orfield and Shonette Tolley , three brothers: Brown, Bud & W.K. Smith and three sisters: Jean Morris, Letta Walker and Virginia Greene and One Great Granddaughter.

Doris Troutman, 88, of Hampton, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, December 10, 2018, from Life Care Center of Elizabethton. Doris was born in Carter County to the late Frank and Sallie Main Smith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of over 60 years, Guy Troutman, and several brothers and sisters.
Doris was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a member of Rittertown Baptist Church where she was the choir director for over 30 years. Doris was a member of Eastern Star and enjoyed genealogy and loved singing praises to the Lord.
Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Anthony Troutman and wife Debbie of Hampton; two granddaughters, Allison and Cyndie and her husband Travis; and five great-grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
A service to celebrate the life of Doris Troutman will be conducted at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, December 13, at Rittertown Baptist Church with Rev. Richard Stout officiating. BUTLER - Ted R. Matherly, 86, Butler, passed away Saturday October 28, 2017 at his residence following an extended illness.

A native of Johnson County, he was a son of the late James Blaine & Winnie Loretta Wagner Matherly. Ted served in the United States Air Force. He attended Watauga Academy and graduate from Johnson County High School. He also attended the University of Tennessee. He retired as Postmaster from the Butler Post Office after 27 years of service. Ted was a member of Roan Creek Masonic Lodge # 679, was one of the original members of the Butler Fire Department, a charter member of the Butler Puritan Club and was a member and deacon of Cobbs Creek Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Raquel Patria (Pat) Ramon Matherly who died May 11, 2005 and by three sisters and three brothers. Ted loved his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was also an Atlanta Brave Fan.

Survivors include Two Daughters: Teresa Burchfield & husband Bob, Covington, Georgia and Amy Ogle & husband Darrell, Rutledge, Tennessee. One Son: Steven Matherly and wife Michele, Butler. Six Grandchildren, Seven Great Grandchildren, several nieces & nephews.

Wayne was born in Neeva, TN on August 18, 1926 and lived in Butler, TN until he was drafted into the Army in 1944. After serving time in the Army, Wayne elected to join the Navy in 1948.

He married his "Darling" Georgie Mae Potter on October 22nd, 1948, and they were married happily for 68 years. During their lives together they made their home in all four corners of the country, living for a time in Rhode Island, Maine, Florida, Washington, California, Virginia, and returned to Tennessee where he lived from 1971 until the day of his death, July 31st, 2017.

Wayne instilled a love of living in his children and grandchildren, grounded in his belief that there was little reason to worry when God was in control. He loved nature and whether he was camping with his family, riding motorcycles around the mountains, or just sitting outside listening to the birds, he was at peace enjoying the beauty around him.

Wayne loved his family. He was the proud father of two children, four grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren. He is survived by Larry (and his wife Dawn) and Karen (and her husband, Mike); four grandchildren, Lisa, Dana (and her fiancé Robert), Dustin (and his wife, Crystal), and Robert (and his wife, Fran); and proud great-grandfather to Makenzie, Ashley, Sophia, Trinity, Aaron, Seth, and Liam. Nothing made him smile easier than the smiles of his children. He is also survived by his loving younger sister, Pearl Matherly, and his wife, Georgie, who remained in his thoughts until his last days on this earth.

Wayne will always be remembered as a kind, caring, honest and thoughtful man who loved to smile, laugh, and tell stories. He never met a stranger, he loved talking to everyone he met and couldn't be pulled away from a lively conversation. He enjoyed whittling and his woodworking kept him quite busy for years. Strangers and family alike can attest to the presence of letter openers, birds and walking sticks that Wayne gifted to them over the years.

As a family, we will miss his smile, his laugh, and his company. We were blessed to have him in our lives as long as we did.

Services will be held at the VA in Johnson City, TN on Tuesday, August 8th beginning promptly at 10:00 am.

Mr. Blackburn was a veteran of the United States Army. He was a member of the Hampton First Baptist Church where he had served as a deacon. He loved to sing and direct music at the church.

He is survived by two sons, Basil Blackburn and his wife, Phyllis of Johnson City; Albert Blackburn and his wife, Tammy, Marion, VA; a daughter, Darlene Taylor and her husband, Carl, Johnson City; four grandchildren, Brian Blackburn, Chad Blackburn, Bonnie Buckles, Jenny Taylor; three step-grandchildren, Tiffany Little, Trevor Mensch and Taryn Mensch; two great-grandchildren, Brianna Blackburn and Allison Blackburn; two brothers, Stuart Blackburn, Elizabethton; Elmer Blackburn, Butler; two sisters, Mary Depew, Johnson City; Anna Ruth Moreland, Butler. KNOXVILLE - Mary B. Depew, age 93, of Knoxville, TN, passed away peacefully Wednesday , November 14, 2018 at Park West Medical Center.

She was a Butler, TN, native, a charter member of the Midway Baptist Church, and the daughter of the late O. H. and Pearl Wagner Blackburn. Before moving to Knoxville, she resided in Johnson City for 51 years. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 66 years, John, as well as three brothers and two sisters.

Mrs. DePew was formerly employed by American Rayon Corporation. She is best remembered for the way she loved and nurtured family and friends in a home whose doors were always open. She was a devout Christian and truly loved the Lord.

She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Survivors include her son Gary Lynn Depew (Sue) of Knoxville, TN; brother Stuart Blackburn of Valley Forge; sister Anna Ruth Moorefield of Butler; granddaughters Jennifer McGrath (Dave) of Lexington, KY; Leslie Blair (Curtis) of Chattanooga, TN and Peyton Pearman (Paul) of Chattanooga, TN: and great-grandchildren Leo McGrath, Holly and Hudson and Cooper Blair and Jackson and Belle Pearman.

Stuart L. “Haney” Blackburn, age 92, of Elizabethton, TN passed away Friday, June 11, 2021, at Hillview Health Center. A native of Johnson County, TN, He is the son of the late Orin Hill Blackburn and Pearl Wagner Blackburn. He was a member of Zion Baptist Church and the choir director for many years. He served in the Korean War for the U.S. Army and worked for Magnavox, NARC and later retired from a lawnmower business. “Haney” enjoyed working on lawnmowers, attending church and leading the choir.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his three sisters, Chloe (Frank) Jewett, Marie (Sam) Dugger and Mary Odell (Jay) Depew; three brothers, Paul Blackburn, Fred (Dora) Blackburn and Elmer (Virginia) Blackburn and daughter, Lori Tester. Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife, Agnes M. Blackburn; two sons, Carroll (Janet) Glover and Orin (Carol) Blackburn; four daughters, Janette (Tony) West, Anna M. PINEY FLATS - Cleo Chelsie Perkins Osborne, age 94, of 615 North Pickens Bridge Road, Piney Flats, went home to be with the Lord Sunday, November 1st, 2015, at Franklin Woods Community Hospital in Johnson City, Tennessee after many years of being diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease. She was born May 24th, 1921 near Butler, Tennessee, in Johnson County. She lived most of her life in Piney Flats, Tennessee. Mrs. Osborne was the daughter of the late Robert and Ester Wagner Perkins. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Wallace James Osborne after almost 65 years of marriage and their 18 month old son, Paul James Osborne, one sister; Nell Forrester, four brothers; Elbert, Ernest, Odis and Leroy Perkins. Mrs. Osborne was an active member of Piney Flats Baptist Church until her illness. She loved working in Vacation Bible School for almost fifty years. Survivors include one daughter Betty Johnson and husband Marvin "Buck" of Piney Flats; one son Bobby Osborne and wife Shirley of Princeton West Virginia ; two grandsons Marvin Johnson Jr. of Piney Flats and Bobby Osborne II of Johnson City ; one brother, Robert Perkins Jr. of Elizabethton ; one sister, Nova Lee Hatch of Yucca Valley California, and several nieces and nephews. He served in the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict and was a member of the Knights of the Blue Nose based on his service at a Strategic Air Base in Thule, Greenland.
He was a graduate of Happy Valley High School and Elizabethton Business College from 1970-1974 in which he received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Higher Accounting and Business Management. Howard utilized his Bachelor's degree and started his own business, Howard's Shop E-Z at the corner of Holly Lane and W. Elk Avenue, Elizabethton. Later in life he also started a second business, Howard's Shop E-Z II on West G Street in Elizabethton. According to his past customers, his "hotdogs" will never be forgotten. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, going out to restaurants, especially Bojangles and watching western movies. He also enjoyed a good basketball or football game.
Howard was a member of Pleasant Beach Baptist Church. He was a son of the late Frank and Alice Wagner Jewett of Butler. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Louise D. Buckles Jewett and his brother, Vaughn Jewett, Elizabethton. He will be deeply missed by his daughter, Sheila Jeannette Bailey and son-in-law, Bill E. Bailey, his grandchildren: Bill G. Bailey, Brandy A. Bailey and Jesse L. Bailey who resides in Darien, Illinois, his half-brother, Frank "Buster" Jewett and wife Linda of Doylestown, Ohio, his nieces, Judy Massey, and Tammy Simerly, Elizabethton and Lisa Jewett of Ohio along whit his nephews Keith Massey, Johnson City, Kenneth Jewett, and Larry Jewett, Elizabethton and Frank Jewett, Jr. of Ohio. His Sister-In-Law: Mrs. Francis Jewett of Elizabethton.
A Service to honor the life of Howard Jewett will take place at 7 p.m. Friday in Memorial Funeral Chapel with the Pastor Mark Fowler officiating. Graveside Service and Interment will be at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, February 27, 2016 in Happy Valley Memorial Park. Music will be provided by Greg Ruston and the Pleasant Beach Baptist Church. Gary Norman Trivett, "Lum-Gum", husband, father and ABSOLUTE BEST "PAW" to his grandbabies, entered into perfect peace on Sunday, October 1, 2017 as he succumbed to his battle with Alzheimer's and Parkinson's as a result of exposure to Agent Orange in Vietnam.

Those left to treasure his memory are his wife and ever-present Caregiver of 49 years, Freada, his daughters, Tracie Percell and husband, Troy, Jonesborough and Brittney Campbell and husband, Alex, Hampton. Four Grandchildren, Taylor and Tristan Michael Percell and Braylon and Brogen Campbell, and 1 Great Granddaughter, Teagan Percell. One brother, Johnnie Trivett and wife Lois, Kingston, two sisters: Gaynell Ilar, Kingston, and Peggy Marlene Tolley and husband Keith, Elizabethton, In addition several nieces and nephews. Gary was preceded in death by his parents, Ivan Carl and Agnes Delphia Sutherland Trivett, and a sister, Nadine Campbell.

Gary was a Graduate of Hampton High School, Sergeant in U.S. ARMY, Reserve Deputy at Carter County Sherriff's Department and retired from the Carter County School system as a Teacher from HHS in 2008.

Gary was an avid fisherman, loved fast cars, including his NOVA, and had a caring and compassionate heart, but most of all LOVED and enjoyed being "Paw" to Taylor, Michael, Braylon, Brogen and Teagan.

He spent time camping at Roan Mountain State Park with his "Camping Buddies". He was a Member of Pleasant Beach Baptist Church

A celebration of Gary's life will be held on Tuesday, October 3, 2017 at Memorial Funeral Chapel, Elizabethton. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. with a celebration of life service beginning at 7 p.m. Pastor Mark Fowler and Bro. Bobby Stout will be officiating. Music will be by Pastor Craig Ponder and Bobby McGee.

Pallbearers will be Troy Percell, Alex Campbell, Michael Percell, Braylon Campbell, Brogen Campbell and Brandon Oliver.

Interment will be at Happy Valley Memorial Park on Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at 11 a.m.

HAMPTON - Shonette Mardell Tolley, age 81, of Hampton went home to be with the Lord on Sunday July 24, 2016. She was born January 19, 1935 in Akron, Ohio to Frank & Lillian Cutlip.

Shonette was a graduate of Hampton High School and was retired from the United States Postal Service. She was an active member of Rittertown Baptist Church where she had served as Minister of Music for many years.

Mrs. Tolley was preceded in death by her father, Frank Cutlip; her sister Rannell Orefield and her granddaughter, Amber Shaw Calhoun.

Survivors include her husband of 64 years, Herman Tolley; her mother, Lillian Cutlip; sons, Keith and Leon (Rebecca) and daughter, Patty; granddaughters, Tracy Guy (Jeff) and Tammy Jordan; grandsons, Mitchell, R.J. and Ezra; great-grandchildren, Lane and Timber Shaw, Jeffrey, River and Rudy Guy, brother, Charles Cut lip (JoAnn); and special friends, Garry Smith and Shrill Davis and Simon.

ELIZABETHTON - Roger Dale Pierce, 73, Elizabethton, passed away Thursday, October 20, 2022 in the Johnson City Medical Center, after a short illness with his family by his side. A native of Carter County, he was a son of the late Ellis & Goldie Blackwell Pierce. He was a graduate of Elizabethton High School. Roger served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam Era. Roger worked as a welder and millwright and retired from Daniels Construction at Eastman. He loved the outdoors and was an avid fisherman and hunter. He was a generous, gifted and loving brother and friend. He was a wonderful husband always aspiring to care for Debbie. Roger was a member of First Christian Church and was a devoted student of the word of God. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his in-laws: Mary and Eugene Bowers.

Survivors include his wife: Debbie Bowers Pierce, His Brothers: Terry (Barbara) Pierce and Bruce (Mary) Pierce. The family would like to thank those at Franklin-Woods and the Johnson City Medical Center for the care Roger received.

Etta Mae (Tootsie) Roberts, age 80, of Mountain City, Tennessee, passed away on Friday, January 14, 2022 at her residence. She was born on September 19, 1941 to the late Guy Arney and Anna Mae Matherly Arney. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, J.L. Roberts, and her sister, Loretta Garver.

Tootsie loved flowers, gardening, and cooking. She was a wonderful mother, cook, and enjoyed taking care of everyone. She also enjoyed music and played the piano and sang for her church.

She was a member of Doe Valley Baptist Church.

Those left to cherish her memories include her daughters, Elisha Milam and Toni Rollins (Jim); son, Jason Roberts (Emily); stepchildren, Melody (Todd), Tim (Robin), Mark (Vicky), and Sheila; brother, Russell Arney (Carolyn); grandchildren, Rhenda Kelly (Tyson), Cristy Clark Taylor (Eddie), Jamie Roberts (Dawn), Jarrett Roberts, Jodi, and Gracie; great-grandchildren, Landon, Elliot, Makenzie, Dylan, Kolby, Brayden, Faith, Hope, Dawson, Blade, and Gage; brother-in-law, Phillip Garver; special friends, Lois, Nancy and Shelby; and several nieces and nephews.

BUTLER - Loretta Kay Arney Garver, 72, Butler passed away Friday, April 14, 2017 in the Johnson City Medical Center. A native of Johnson County, she was a daughter of the late Guy & Anna Mae Matherly Arney. Loretta was a 1962 graduate of Johnson County High School. She was an active member of Little Doe Baptist Church. She was a member of the Church Choir, Sunday School Teacher, active in the WMU and children church.

Survivors include her husband of 54 years: Phillip Garver. Two Children: Darwinn Garver & wife, Melissa, Butler and Sherry Stevens and husband Danny, Piney Flats. Ten Grand Children: Sarah Garver, Megan Meade, Kaylin Hayworth, Bailey Epperly, Julia Stevens, Mason Hayworth, Luke Hayworth, Harley Wykle, Evan Hayworth and Grey Stevens. A Sister: Etta Mae Roberts, Mountain City. A Brother: Russell Arney & wife Carolyn, Ft. Walton Beach, Florida. One Uncle: Ted Matherly. A Sister-In-Law: Jettie McKeehan. Funeral Service will be conducted at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the Little Doe Baptist Church with the Rev. Kreg Smith officiating. Graveside Service and Interment will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 19, 2017 in the Rock Springs Cemetery. Music will be provided by the Church Choir. JOHNSON CITY - Basil Lyle Blackburn, age 76, of Johnson City, Tennessee went home to be with the Lord at his home on Thursday, June 8, 2023 surrounded by his beloved family. Basil was born in Elizabethton and raised in Johnson County and Hampton, to the late Fred Blackburn and Dora Rita (Grindstaff) Blackburn. In addition to his parents, Basil was also preceded in death by his great grandson, “Little Man”- Richard Killian Owens; several aunts and uncles; his mother-in-law, Myrtle Moody; and his brother-in-law, Wayne Hicks.

Basil was a mechanic by trade and could fix anything! He never gave up on trying or doing anything he put his mind too but most of all he loved and cherished his family. Basil had excelled at many things and had a wonderful, hard-working heart of gold. He had owned and operated a Roadrunner Express Delivery Service, Mr. B’s Service Center and Aunt B’s Restaurant. To say he was talented would be a tremendous understatement.

Basil attended Pinecrest Baptist Church where he was a former Deacon. He attended church religiously until his health prevented it. He had also worked with the youth of the church in past years, including youth trips and outings. Basil loved all animals, but especially his dog, Reese. A family man at heart, Basil treasured his trips with his family to the beach, riding motorcycles and children of all ages that were drawn to Basil because of his kind, loving heart.

Those left to remember and cherish Basil’s memories include his loving wife, Phyllis Blackburn; two sons, Brian Blackburn and Chad (Mandy) Blackburn; his granddaughters, Brianna Owens and Allison (Hunter) Hampton; his brother, Albert (Tammy) Blackburn and his sister, Darlene (Carl) Taylor and family; his sister-in-law, Pat Moody Hicks; several nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members also survive as well as his special cousins, Kenny Grindstaff and Charlie Grindstaff, special niece, Sherry Tilson, special family friend, Shirley Butler and many, many friends that will miss him so very much, too many to list, but they know they were loved.

A service to celebrate the life of Basil Lyle Blackburn will be conducted at 7:00 PM on Tuesday, June 13, 2023 in the Chapel of Peace at Tetrick Funeral Home of Elizabethton with Mr. Garry Edwards officiating. Emory Cordell will also speak at the service. Music will be under the direction of Larry Pate. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM in the funeral home chapel prior to the service on Tuesday.

The graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, June 14, 2023 at Roselawn Cemetery. Boyd was preceded in death by his parents: John David & Georgia Church Ward. He was a 1962 graduate of Johnson County High School. He was a retired Textile Supervisor. Boyd was a member of Rock Springs Baptist Church.

HAMPTON - Gregory Banner, 61, Hampton, passed away Thursday, November 24, 2022 at his residence. A native of Carter County, he was born April 8, 1961. He was formerly employed by Tennessee Valley Cable. He loved to play the Guitar and play horseshoe. In earlier years he attended Union Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his father Clyde Banner , a sister: Wanda Banner, a niece: Terra Blevins, his grandparents: Essie & Arthur Banner and Lawton & Della Hodge and his aunt: Helena Feathers.

Survivors include his daughter: Linda (Robert) Clawson, Mother: Geraldine Banner, a granddaughter: Rachel Nelson, a great grandson: Carter Eller, a sister: Jamie Blevins and a niece: Kelly Reed.
