    MRS. CARRIE ESTEP
    Mrs. Carrie Estep, age 62, died at her home in Lilly Addition.
    Survivors: Two daughters, Mrs. Brownlow Scalf, Elizabethton, and Mrs. Cody Ledford, Raysal, W. Va.; two sisters, Mrs. Ruth DeLoach, and Mrs. Eliza Crumley, of Elizabethton; one brother, John Turner, of Elizabethton; two grandchildren, Frances and Virginia Scalf.
    Funeral services will be conducted from the home of Mrs. Brownlow Scalf, Thursday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock, with the Rev. Clarence Howington, Rev. H. C. Hopkins, and Rev. Leon Hill, officiating. Burial will be in the Estep Cemetery.
    Pallbearers will be the nephews: Fred DeLoach, Charlie DeLoach, Monroe Winters, Arthur Turner, Howard Turner and Noah Turner.
    Honorary pallbearers: Edward Turner, Charlie Turner, Carl Turner, Jack Turner, Robert Winters, and Lloyd Winters.

    Notes:

    Virginia L. Pinckard, 94, of Elizabethton, passed away Monday, April 13, 2015, at Ivy Hall Nursing Home.
    A native of Carter County, she was a daughter of the late Brownlow and Mary Estep Scalf. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Pinckard, and a sister, Frances Lewis.
    Virginia attended Steed College and was employed at Beaunit Fibers as a secretary for 34 years. She was a member of East Side Baptist Church.
    Survivors include a son, David Pinckard, Elizabethton; a daughter and son-in-law, Joyce and Jim Cornett, Jefferson City; three granddaughters and their husbands, Angie and Adam Bradley, Johnson City, Kristi and John Hommell, Kingsport, and Regina and Bill Nutter, Nashville; and five great-grandchildren, Blake Bradley, Lauren Hommell, Shelby and Will Nutter and Alex Phillips.
    A Celebration of Life Service for Virginia L. Pinckard will be conducted at 1 p.m. Sunday, April 19, at her residence, 703 N. Main Street, Elizabethton, Apartment #3, with the Rev. Raymond Amos officiating. Private disposition of cremains will be at a later date.
