    Shelby Jean Deloach, age 74, of Johnson City, passed away Thursday, May 31, 2012, at the Johnson City Medical Center following a brief illness.

    Born in Greene County, she was the daughter of the late TD and Earline Adams Altman. She was a wonderful loving Mother and Grandmother. Her family always came first to her and we are going to miss her so very much. We love you Mama and Nanny!

    In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Max Deloach; Aunt, Lillian Bradshaw; baby brother, Keith Altman; great grandson, Max Spears.

    Survivors include her daughter, Vicky Clemons and husband, Allen, Unicoi; granddaughter, Jennifer Spears and husband, Roger, Carter County; great granddaughter, Brittnee Nave; great grandson, Roger Spears Jr.; four brothers and sisters-in-law, Thomas, Kenneth Glen and Jerry Altman and their wives; very special friend, Everetta B. Altman.

    There will be an open visitation for friends and family to visit and register their presence at the funeral home on Sunday, June 3, 2012, from 12:00 until 5:00 P.M. at Woodall-Anderson & Dugger Funeral Home.

    Shelby married Max Baer DeLoach about 1956 in Johnson City, , Washington County, Tennessee. Max (son of Joseph Alexander DeLoach and Dove Cleo Williams Arnold) was born on 16 Sep 1935 in Washintgon County, , , Tennessee; died on 28 Feb 2008 in Washintgon County, , , Tennessee; was buried on 3 Mar 2008 in Oak Hill Cemetary, Johnson City, Washington County, Tennessee.
