Eleanor Collins DeLoach was the wife of William DeLoach, Senior.
In the name of God Amen the thirty first of September 1748. I Eleanor Deloach widow of Brunswick County Virginia being in perfect mind and memory thanks be given unto God Therefore calling unto mind therefore the mortallity of my Body and knowing that it is appointed for all People to Die do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament that is to say principally and first of all I give and recommend my Soul into the Hands of God that gave it and my Body to the Earth to be Buried in decent Christian Burial at the discrestion of my Executor not doubting but at the General Resurrection I shall receive the same again by the mighty power of God and as touching such worldly Estate wherewith it pleased almighty God to bless me with in this Life I give Demise and Dispose of the same in the following manner and Form.
Imprimis I give and bequeath a young negro Girl Child unto my Grand Daughter Celia Philips and the said negro being called Hagor and if the said Celia Philips should die without Heir I give the said negro unto her Sister Anne Hill and her Heirs forever
Item I give and bequeath unto my Son Francis Deloach one negro wench named, to wit, Isabell and the said negro wench to him and his Heirs forever
Item I give and bequeath unto my Grand Son Thomas Deloach Son of Francis Deloach a negro Girl Child named, to wit, Phillis and the said negro Girl to him and his Heirs forever
Item I give and bequeath unto my Daughter Anne Hill Wife of William Hill my Rideing Horse named prince and my Side Saddle after my deceased
Item I give and bequeath unto my Son William Deloach twenty Shillings current money laying in my Executor's Hands after my Decease
Item I give and bequeath unto my Grand Daughter Eleanor Deloach Daughter of William Deloach fifteen Shillings current money to buy her a Ring after my Decease
Item I give and bequeath unto my Grand Daughter Eleanor Hill Daughter of Hermon Hill fifteen Shillings current money to buy her a Ring after my decease
Item I give and bequeath unto my Daughter Anne Hill my Trunk, Lock and Key and all my wearing apparrel and a large Bottle that always stand in the said Trunk and I Likewise Constitute ordain and appoint my loving Son Francis Deloach my whole and sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament Giving and bequeathing unto him the said Francis Deloach all other part whatsoever of my Estate that is not mentioned unto him and his Heirs forever and I do hereby utterly revoke and disannull all and every former Testaments me in any ways before named and my will and desire is that my Estate shall no ways be valued and appraised and I do hereby ratify and confirm this and no other to be my last Will and Testament In Witness whereof I have set my Hand and Seal the Day and Year above written 1748.

At a Court held for Brunswick County the 26 Day of September 1750. This will was presented in Court by Francis Deloach the Executor therein named who made Oath thereto according to Law and the same was proved by the Oath of Nathan Stansell a witness thereto and ordered to be recorded and on the motion of the said Executor Certifiate was granted him for obtaining a probat thereof in due form he having given Bond and Security as the Law in such Cases Directs.
