Mountain City News - Mrs. Caleb Lowe, aged 79 years, died at the home of her son, Kemp Lowe, in Doe Valley, Monday. Mrs. Lowe had been in failing health for several months but her death was unexpected, having expired sitting in her chair. Funeral services were conducted Tuesday and interment made in the cemetery near the home. She is survived by some children and a number of brothers and sisters.
