- He was the son of the late Richard and Mary Ragan Norris and was also preceded in death by a daughter, Nancy Norris; a son, Douglas Norris; three sisters, Mary and Hannah Norris and Lois Keefer; and four brothers, Wilburn, Clark, Avery and Richard Charles Norris.
Mr. Norris attended Keenburg Free Will Baptist Church. He was a former employee of Bemberg Corporation and had retired from North American Rayon Corporation and the U.S. Forestry Service.
Funeral services were conducted at 8 p.m. Thursday, August 23, 2001 at Tetrick Funeral Home, Riverside Chapel.
Graveside services and interment were at 11 a.m. Friday, August 24, 2001 at Happy Valley Memorial Park.
