- Dennis Stevens, 76, Elizabethton, passed away Tuesday, March 1, 2022, at his residence. He was born December 14, 1945 in Elizabethton to the late Henry Clay and Geneieve Campbell Stevens.
Dennis was a graduate of Hampton High School and was retired from Sprint Telephone Company. He loved to hunt. He had attended the Church of God.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ella Louise Whitehead Stevens, who passed away June 5, 2021, and a brother, Kenneth Stevens.
Survivors include four sisters, Louise Barnett, Johnson City, Geraldine Tolley of Ohio, Darlene Tolley, Hampton, and Aileen (Ronald) Street, Roan Mountain; two brothers, Roger Stevens, Hampton, and Dale Stevens, Unicoi; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, March 7, at Roselawn Memorial Park with the Rev. R.L. Poole officiating. Active pallbearers, who are requested to assemble at the funeral home at 1:15 p.m. Monday, will be Steve Tolley, Allen Tolley, Rodney Hill, Morgan Stevens, Travis Stevens, Andrew Stevens, Conner Miline and Dillan Stevens.
