- Bert Paul Poarch, 47, of 31 Kentucky St., died unexpectedly at 5:30 p.m. yesterday at his North Carolina, he a native of had resided in Johnson City since his youth.
He was a member of the Baptist church and had been employed as a sheet metal worker at Willard Heating and Air Conditioning Co. for 20 years.
Survivors include the widow, Mrs. Vena Evelyn Poarch; four sons, Bert Poarch Jr., Jacksonville, Fla., Robert Charles Poarch, Wayne Poarch and William Pouch, all of Johnson City; two sisters. Mary Poarch and Pearl Poarch of Elizabethton; six brothers, Ray Poarch, Johnson City, Clyde Poarch, James Poarch, Guy Poarch, and Tommy Poarch, all of Elizabethton, John Poarch, Houston, Tex.; three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
