- Rickey Lee Hatley Sr., 66, of Elizabethton, Tenn., passed away unexpectedly at Sycamore Shoals Hospital on December 8, 2021. Rickey was the son of Carl and Margaret Hatley.
Rickey was a self-employed carpet layer and of the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Kenneth Hatley; two sisters, Patricia Stout and Sheila Stout; and long-time girlfriend, Aleta Darnell, of the home.
Those left to cherish his memory are a son, Rickey Hatley Jr., a niece, Amy Montgomery, and a nephew, Doug Stout, as well as several other close family members.
Services for Rickey Hatley will be held privately for the family.
