- The will of John Arrandall (sic) named the five children shown in this record. There were five other persons with the Arrendell surname who lived in Johnson County that, because of their age and location, could have been John's children. These were Alexander, Andrew, Elijah, John Jr., and Meredith D. Since there are no civil records which prove that these five were John's children, and since they were not mentioned in his will, they will be carried as separate family groups pending additional information.
