- Tommy Arnold, 29, Rt. 3, Butler, was dead on arrival at Johnson County Memorial Hospital after a logging accident Monday morning.
A life-long resident of Johnson County, Mr. Arnold was employed as a logger and was a member of the Little Doe Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Mrs. Eliza Arnold, in 1975.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Faye Brickey Arnold; one daughter, April Dawn Arnold, of the home; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Park Arnold, Rt. 1, Butler; one sister, Mrs. Lynn (Sandy) Snyder, Rt. 3, Butler; his maternal grandparents, Rev. and Mrs. Victor Broyles, Rt. 3, Butler; and his paternal grandfather, Ed Arnold, Rt. 1, Butler. Several aunts and uncles also survive.
Funeral services for Tommy Lewis Arnold, 29, Rt. 3, Butler, who died Monday morning, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday from the Little Doe Baptist Church, with the Rev. R. A. Royston and Mark Sparks, minister, officiating. Interment will be in the Butler Memorial Cemetery. The Sugar Grove Quartet will be in charge of music.
Active pallbearers, who are requested to assemble at the church at 1:45 p.m. Wednesday, will be Carroll Matherly, Jerry Matherly, Jerry Garland, Larry Garland, Bob Atwood and Carroll Fletcher.
