- "Funeral services for William Holsclaw, 69, were held at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Rader Funeral Home chapel with Dr. Gene Petty officiating. Mr. Holsclaw died Tuesday in a hospital in Longview, Texas. He was a native of Tennessee and a former member of the Merchant Marines. Surviving are two sons, Raymond Holsclaw, of Charleston, South Carolina, and Freddy Holsclaw, of Atlanta, Georgia; his father, John C. Holtsclaw, of Johnson City, Tennessee; two sisters, Mrs. Berniece Cable, of Pendleton, South Carolina, and Mrs. Effie Whitehead, of Hampton, Tennessee; and two brothers, Cline Holtsclaw, of Johnson City, Tennessee, and Reece Holtsclaw, of Charleston, South Carolina."
