- ELIZABETHTON — Ina Mae Deloach, 87, 225 West Doe Avenue, Elizabethton, died Thursday, August 12, 2004, at the residence of a niece, Doris Cates, 273 Long Hollow Road, Elizabethton. A native of Butler, she was a daughter of the late Nat and Pearl Whaley Deloach. She had lived a number of years in Elizabethton. Miss Deloach had formerly been employed at Eagles, Kress’s and Big K. she was a member of the Happy Valley Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by three brothers: Manuel, Spencer and Robert Deloach. Survivors include two sisters: Pauline Poole, Elizabethton, and Effie Garland, Butler; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 7 p.m. Friday in Memorial Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Jerry Lyons officiating. Graveside Service and Interment will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, August 14, 2004, in Happy Valley Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Friday in the funeral home. Friends may also call at the residence of a niece and her husband: Doris and Lonnie Cates, 273 Long Hollow Road, Elizabethton. Family and friends will assemble at the funeral home at 1:30 p.m. Saturday to go to the cemetery.
