- Beulah Lee Lipford Kyte, 87, Butler, went home to be with her Lord Thursday, October 3, 2013, at her residence surrounded by her family. A native of Butler, she was a daughter of the late Archiebald and Latitia Sluder Lipford. She was a retired employee of Timberland Boot Manufacturing Company, Mountain City. Beulah loved her family, loved to quilt and work in her garden. She was a member of the Cobbs Creek Baptist Church and the Sanctuary Sunday School Class. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Haskiel Reece Kyte, August 21, 2001; by three brothers: Jess, Homer and Fred Lipford; Two Sisters: Cassie Green and Mae Deloach; and by three infant brothers and three infant sisters. Survivors include her children: Barbara Kyte "B.K." McCloud and her husband, Jim, Oxford, North Carolina, Garry G. Kyte and wife, Barbara, Butler, and Nyoka Kyte Weaver and her husband, Melvin, Butler; One Grandson: Alan Todd Kyte; Several Nieces & Nephews. Funeral Services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Saturday, October 5, 2013, in Memorial Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Alan Koch officiating. Interment will follow in Butler Memorial Cemetery. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home. The family would like to express a special "Thank You" to Mountain States Hospice and Ivey Tester for their excellent care of our mother. Friends may also visit with the family at the residence.
