- Kevin Lynn Stover Sr., 51, Elizabethton, was born on July 23, 1969, and passed away at Sycamore Shoals Hospital on March 7, 2021, due to illness.
Kevin Lynn Stover Sr. was a God-fearing man that loved his life to the fullest and wasn’t afraid of “Nuttin.” He loved playing guitar, writing music and singing for everyone to enjoy. Now that he has his angel wings he is playing in the angel band.
He was preceded in death by his father, Timothy Kyle Stover.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Lisa Diane Hatley Stover; his mother, Sherry Ann Markland Lowe; Aunt Thelma (Pebbles) Markland and Uncle Larry Michael Stover, and Harold Bowers; his siblings, Kelvin (Casper) Lee Stover and Nikki (Sissy) Stover Thomas and her husband Fred Thomas; his children, Kevin Lynn Stover Jr., Mark Allen Stover, Dustin (Duckbutter) James Stover and his wife Autumn Stover, and daughter Summer (Sassafras) Lorraine Stover and her husband Kane Hobbs; his stepchildren, Reba, Tanya, Naomi Luman and Ashley Agee; grandchildren, Sandy, Samuel, Alexus (Lexapro), Natalie, Giavonni (G-Bug), Connor (Smiley), Hunter (Hotdog), Jerry Kade (Jaderbug) and KiLynn (Baby K); nieces and nephews, Allison (Alleyoson), Brandon, Kyle and Heather; special friends, Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Cochran, Bo Townsand, Richard Holt, Johnny Merritt, Bobby Rainbolt, Mr. and Mrs. James Ritchie, Mr. and Mrs. Joe McPheter, Ronni LaBlanc and Mr. and Mrs. Craig Thomas.
