- Jimmy Stout, 57, of Elizabethton, passed away on Tuesday, January 8, 2013, at Sycamore Shoals Hospital. He was a native of Carter County and the son of Charlotte Angel Stout and the late James Stout. Mr. Stout was a carpenter and had attended Eastside Christian Church. In addition to his mother, survivors include his son, Jimi Stout of Smyrna, GA; sisters, Susan Shorter and Linda Jenkins both of Elizabethton; brother, Don Stout and wife Kathleen of Rockville, MD. Special friends Jim Shaw and Frank Schaff also survive.
