- JOHNSON CITY - Judy Hamby Carr, 75, of Johnson City, passed away on Sunday, December 15, 2019 at Four Oaks Health Care. She was a native of Johnson City and daughter of the late Wiley and Mayme Ruth Head Hamby. In addition to her parents, Judy was preceded in death by her husband, James Leonard Carr.
Those left to cherish Judy's memory include her son, Scott Lee Beaver and his wife Melody, grandson, Nicholas Montgomery, her brother, Ronnie, and sister, Linda, several nieces and nephews also survive.
The family will greet friends to share memories on Wednesday, December 18, 2019 from 11:00 am until a Celebration of Judy's life at 1:00 pm in the Sunrise Chapel of Tetrick Funeral Services, Johnson City with Pastor Estel Williams officiating. A Graveside service will be held at 2:30 pm on Wednesday at Carr Cemetery in Watauga Flats. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
