- Goldie Ann Lambert, 91, 1666 Hillview Drive, Elizabethton, died Monday, September 18, 2006, at Hillview Health Center.
A native of Carter County, she was a daughter of the late Andy and Julie Hartley Lunceford.
Mrs. Lambert was a homemaker and a member of Valley Forge House of Prayer.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Lambert was preceded in death by a son, Tony Clawson, three husbands, Gurney Clawson, Roy Potter and Ross Lambert, and four brothers, Robert Lunceford, Dewey Lunceford, Martin Lunceford and Joe Lunceford.
Survivors include three daughters, Georgia Rosenbaum and Maxine Hyder, both of Elizabethton, and Ella Faye Rash of Johnson City; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; one granddaughter that loved and cared for her, Rochelle Darnell of Elizabethton; and two sisters, Ceila Mae Lyons of Johnson City and Lona Potter of Indiana. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
The funeral service for Mrs. Lambert will be conducted at 8 p.m. Tuesday, September 19, in the Riverside Chapel of Tetrick Funeral Home with Rev. Russell Potter officiating. The family will receive friends in the funeral home chapel from 6 p.m. until the service hour, or friends may call at the residence of a daughter, Georgia Rosenbaum, 711 Blevins Avenue, Elizabethton, or at the home of a granddaughter, Rochelle Darnell, 634 West D Street, Elizabethton, anytime.
The graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, September 20, at Stone Mountain Baptist Church Cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be Johnny Hicks, Mickey Darnell, Chris Ritchie, Dexter Adkins, Gene Hyder and Ernie Rosenbaum. Honorary pallbearers will be Derrick Adkins, Travis Adkins, Dustin Simerly, Jeremy Simerly, Mason Hicks, Mallory Markland and Heather Darnell.
