- THOMASVILLE – Mrs. Mary Grace Huffman Trivette, 85, a resident of Thomasville died Friday, May 20, 2011 in the Pine Ridge Health and Rehabilitation Center in Thomasville.
Grace was born June 17, 1925 in Watauga County, NC a daughter of the late Lindsay Huffman and Maggie Mains Huffman and had made this area her home since 1960. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith and also enjoyed crocheting and crafts. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by brothers and sisters, a daughter; Betty Williams and a son; Benny Trivette. In 1945 she married Floyd Trivette who died in 2000.
Surviving is her sons; Bill Trivette, Bobby Trivette, and Buster Trivette and his wife Shirley all of Thomasville, a sister; Faye Watson of Lenoir, NC, a brother; Millard Huffman of Lenoir, NC, seven grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, May 22, 2011 in the J.C. Green and Sons Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Brent O'Neal officiating. Interment will follow in the Holly Hill Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 PM Saturday at the funeral home and other times at the home of a son Bill.
