- Georgia Lee Bennett Laws, 96, of Marietta, SC, wife of the late Charlie Jefferson Laws, passed away on December 15, 2019 at River Falls Health and Rehabilitation.
Born in Buladean, NC, she was a daughter of the late, Nathan William and Edith Hill Bennett. Mrs. Laws was retired from Stone Mfg. where she worked in the Samples Department and she was a member of Marietta First Freewill Baptist Church.
Surviving is her daughter, Claudette Laws; a daughter-in-law, Barbara Dunn (Jerry); 3 sisters, Ruby Hyder, Ruth McKinney and Wileda Johns and many loving nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she was predeceased by two sons, Lester Jack Laws (Vivian) and William "Bill" Charles Laws; 4 brothers, Cecil, Clifford, Harry and Gene Bennett and 2 sisters, Ottolene Tolley and Nadine Googe.
Graveside service at Marietta First Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery.
