- Herbert Head 87, of rural Parkersburg, Illinois died Wednesday morning, July the 28th in Richland Memorial Hospital, Olney, Illinois. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery, Parkersburg in Richland County, Illinois.
Mr. Head was born in Carter County Tennessee., son of Johnathan and Amanda Cochran Head. He was a 57-year member of the Unicoi County Masonic Lodge.
Survivors include his sons Herman of Unicoi Co., TN, Donald of Bozmen, Mont., James W of Lake Placid, FL, Luther of McDonald PA, : daughters Mrs (James) Ruth Phillips of Ponce DeLeon, FL, Mrs. (Ellis) Margaret Lame of Parkersburg, IL, Mrs. Rosalee Moore of Erwin TN. Brothers Hunter of Johnson city TN. 25 grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren. Three brothers and three sisters preceded him in death.
