- Walter Herman Ragan, 76, 213 Wilson Ave., died unexpectedly at 8:30 a.m. yesterday in Memorial Hospital.
A native of Newport, he had lived in Washington County most of his life. Walter Ragan was a former employee of Johnson City Foundry, attended the Apostolic Christian Church.
