- Myrtle Mae Masters, age 85, Erwin, passed away on Wednesday, May 25, 2011 at the Christian Care Center. She was born in Mitchell, NC and was a daughter of the late Millard F and Emma Hughes Johnson. Myrtle was a technician at Texas Instruments for 17 years prior to retiring in 1988.She was a member of Chestoa Baptist Church and attended the Church of God. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Loyd Masters in 1990 and a brother; Arnold Gene Johnson.
She leaves behind:
Daughter: Nina Crain, husband Eddie, Erwin
Two Sons: Danny Masters, wife Melissa, Erwin
Tim Masters, Wife Faye, Unicoi
Brother: Millard "Buddy" Johnson, Fall Branch
Four Grandsons
Two Granddaughters
Ten Great Grandchildren
Graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM, May 26, 2011 at Mountain Home National Cemetery. Reverend John Edwards will officiate.
