- Phebe (Masters) Bailey was married to Thomas J. Bailey. He was in the 10th Tennessee Infantry during the Civil War. She filed for widows pension 10 Sep 1888 (roll number:T288_17). They were in the census for 1860 but not in the 1870 so he died between that time.
Thomas was born about 1834 in Yancey Co.,NC, son of "Yellow Jacket" John Bailey and Lovada Ray.
