- BLUFF CITY - Patricia M. Loveless Sparks, age 74, of Bluff City, TN passed away surrounded by her family on Monday, April 1, 2019 at her residence.
A native of Elizabethton, she was the daughter of the late David Eugene Loveless and Addie Marie Davis Loveless. She retired from the packaging department of Baxter Pharmaceuticals and she was of the Baptist faith. Patricia was an amazing and devoted mother and grandmother who enjoyed gardening, tending to her flowers, boating and spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Carrol Ann Sparks Cloyd; two sisters, Linda Carter and Barbara Strickland and one brother, Jackie Loveless. Those left to cherish her memory include two daughters, Cindy Christian and husband Brian, of the home and Cathey Vance and husband Todd, Johnson City; two sons, Phillip Sparks and wife Cindy, Elizabethton and Billy Sparks and wife Lisa, Milligan College; grandchildren, Phillip Sparks II and wife Lacy, Haley Sparks, Coty Sparks, Seth Sparks, Ashley Wallace, Chantz Scott, Darren Scott and Marc Anthony Cloyd; great-grandchildren, Aria Sparks, Graci Thompson, Lucas Thompson, Kennedy Sparks, Brennan Scott, Kintzon Scott and Chancellor Scott; siblings, Joe Loveless, Betty White, Judy Hughes, Brenda Pike, Jim Loveless and Richard Loveless and a special friend, Agatha Loveless.
A service to honor the life of Patricia M. Loveless Sparks will be conducted at 7:00 P.M. Thursday, April 4, 2019 in the Sunset Chapel of Hathaway-Percy Funeral and Cremation Services with Mr. Johnny Hilton, evangelist officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:30 – 7:00 P.M. on Thursday prior to the service or at the residence at other times. Graveside service and interment will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, April 5, 2019 in Washington County Memory Gardens, Johnson City. Active pallbearers will be Chantz Scott, Phillip Sparks II, Coty Sparks, Seth Sparks, Marc Anthony Cloyd and Jason Loveless. Honorary pallbearers will be Mickey Mackley, Tim Carter, Darren Scott and Mark Cloyd.
